Chapter 2- New Boy

It was the first day back to school from my long tormented summer vacation. I was not looking forward to going back to school because the breakup between Ethan and I was still tearing at my heart. I continue to get flashbacks of us when we were together. I need to get a distraction to get rid of him for good.

Since I moved back home I was able to reach to school early because the school is like ten minutes away from my home.As I got out of my car the first thing I saw was Aaron walking briskly toward me. I tried not to have any contact with him but as I was going to lock my car I fumbled with the keys and it fell. As I retrieved my keys and looked up he had already gotten to where I had parked my car and was staring right at me.

Aaron's POV

There she was standing right in front of me. I have had a serious crush on Vanessa since I saw her at Daniel's pool party, but obviously Ethan came and swept her off her feet. He uses girls like they're toys and when he gets bored he throws them away. "Hi Vanessa" "Hey" as she answered I felt my heart skip a beat. It took me a while to get out of my daydream "Ar-are you okay?","Yeah, I guess I'm fine." "That didn't sound very convincing." she sounded and looked depressed but was still beautiful. As we headed toward the school building Ethan and Elisha spotted us and stopped us. "What's up Ethan?" "Hey", "Do you want to hang out tonight", "Actually...... Elisha and I were going on a date tonight", "Well let's make it a double date because Vanessa and I were also planning to go out." Ethan suddenly turned red and I could see the fury in his eyes. "What!!" and he gave Vanessa a sharp look. I quickly turned around and gave her a signal to play along with it and grabbed her hand. "Isn't that right Vanessa?" "Yeah", it only took Elisha a matter of time before she screamed in surprise and gave Vanessa a cold look. Both her and Ethan walked off in a fit of anger, surprise and shame without uttering a word.

Vanessa's POV

I couldn't believe what just happened, "Why the hell did you do that!?","I did it to make Ethan jealous by him thinking that we are together." ,"But we're not!" , "He doesn't know that."
