A few weeks after my 6th birthday my mom was on the couch crying. I did not know why so I asked her. She could barely talk but she finally said it... She was pregnant, dad had raped her. I couldn't believe it; he got her pregnant and then left us again. Him leaving was not bad news though. It turns out she was already 2 months pregnant and we didn't know what to do. We went to the doctor and everything looked fine so far.
