I arrived at the party with a frilly shirt and shorts. I see my used to be boyfriend Ben. I loved him until I met Jace. Ben is a hot, kind, friendly, but rude to people that messes with him. I found him looking at me. I walk away gently. I see Cara and walk to her. She drank a lot of energy drinks I can see. Her energy is high and she's kissing Ben's brother, Carl. I laugh and Jace joins in. Ben walks over to me and brushes his shoulder against my shoulder. I take a quick glance and saw Jace glare at Ben. I look away. Cara stops and laughs. "Omg! You finally came! This is my new boyfriendddd, Carl." She extended boyfriend.. Jace takes her in their car and locks the car. She falls asleep. While Jace is gone, Ben talks to me. "Also baby doll.." I blush in a embarrassed way. "Don't call me that." I say firmly. He laughs and pulls me to his chest. "Stop it." I say again. His lips brush against mine and Jace comes and slaps him. I breathe and have an angry face on. I glare at him. Jace grabs my hand and takes me into the "private" room. He laughs and I guess I join in. I giggle until he brushes his lips onto mine. I'm speechless. Though I'm smiling. He kisses me again. We don't stop until we hear some people knocking. We hide over in a broom cabinet. I hear Cara? And Ben? "People with guns are here!" I hear Cara whisper. "Shut up! We'll be safe here." Ben says calmly. Jace and I look at each other. I almost scream but I catch myself. "AHHHHH!" I hear one of my friends, Masai, scream. Soon I hear everyone screaming. Gun noises everywhere. Ben is holding Cara. I can see thro the peep hole. "What about Carl?" Cara asked quietly. "Left an hour ago." Ben says. Why is she thinking of Carl at the moment?? They talk quietly until everything quiets down. The two "friends" leave the private shed. I hear a boy scream. And a gun shot. I also hear running away. I go out of the shed and Jace followed. I go out and see blood everywhere. I see Ben on the floor. I gasp. Jace gasps too. Poor Cara watching the whole thing. She's crying. "El-Ellie.. come.." he says. I come forward. "I will always l-love you.." his last words. I cry. I don't know why but I cry. Ben's last movement was a sad and lonely blink. Cara and I cry. Jace holds both of us. I don't know why it hurt so much.
