Paul unlocked the door to their hotel room, sighing as Jane pushed past him. They had just come from the cast party, having finished filming of what would become The Beatles first movie, A Hard Day's Night. Jane had been in a foul mood for the past few hours, and insisted that they leave the party 5 hours before it's organised end time. She'd been totally fine at the start of the party, chatting to guests and dancing with Paul. But when Paul asked Demi to dance, her expression remained fixed in a scowl.

She stormed into the bathroom and slammed the door behind her. Paul shook his head, walked into the room and sat down on the bed. Aas suddenly as she had disappeared, Jane burst back into the room clutching her toiletries. "What're you doing with those?" Paul asked, watching her closely. He continued to watch as she pulled her suitcase onto the bed and began to dump her possesions into it, not bothering to fold her clothes neatly as she normally would. "Jane? Jane, where're you going? Jane?" Paul asked, rushing over to her, attempting to stop her leaving. Like a flash, Jane dropped her suitcase by the door, whipped round and slapped him across the face. Paul let out a gasp of shock, putting his hand on his cheek. "What the fuck was that for?" Paul yelled. "That was for going behind my back and fucking that little American tart, you arsehole!" "What? I haven't done anything! Jane!" Jane snorted, picking up her suitcase once more. Paul turned her to look at him. She shook him off, her anger growing rapidly. "I didn't do anything with her! She's just a friend!" Paul yelled. "Well why don't I believe you?" Jane yelled back. Paul took a deep breath and sat down. "I've never touched her, Jane. You know I wouldn'd do that to you." He said, calmly. Jane opened the door, grabbing her coat. She looked over her shoulder at him. "We've all seen the way you look at her. Please don't try to deny your feelings when they're so plainly written all over your face." She said calmly. "Goodbye Paul." Jane slammed the door and walked out of Paul's life.
