Paul went on to marry Linda, and together they had three beautiful children together, and Paul adopted Linda's daughter Heather. They were married for 29 years, until Linda died of breast cancer in 1998. Paul never forgot Demi and, when his beloved Linda died, he felt like he was loosing Demi all over again. Demi was a constant but invisible presence in the McCartney household for decades. And even today, Paul and Ringo, the only remaining Beatles, get together or call each other on the day they both met Demi for the first time, to remember the inspiring woman she was.
