Kiyiya is a puppy, lost and abandoned from her pack. She wants to find her way back, but harsh winter plans something else. She has to wait until the cold season is over before she can start again. She ends up befriending another wolf, named Stone...
~~~a few MORE months later~~~ Kiyiya's POV Me and Stone have turned the clearing into a sort of camp, the tree being my den, and a tree opposite of mine being his. We found a lot of bushes that we will use for wounded wolves, a hollowed out tree for pups and their mothers, and one for regular wolves. I hear a rustle in the bush and look to see a new wolf. Female by the looks of it. I say in my mind. She is a timber brown wolf with bluish eyes. I look to see Stone still sleeping in his den. "H-hello?" She says, looking at the place, then back at me. I smile and walk towards her. "It's okay, no one except me and my deputy is here. I am the leader of a pack that will build. I am Kiyiya, your name?" She nods. "My name's Leaf." I nod. "Where do you come from?" She looks down. "I-i was banished" I walk over to her. "What for?" She looks at me. "I gave food to an outcast." "An outcast? Where? Can you get them?" She nods. "Would you like to join the pack?" She nods again. "Then after you find the outcast, bring them here." She nods, and heads off. I pad over to stone's den. "Stone, wake up" he wakes. "Whyyy?" He complains. As usual. "We might have gotten a visitor." He perks up, wide awake. "Really? Where are they?" I smile. "They went to get another wolf that could be in our pack. She already agreed to be a member, and that outcast she said she knew might become one too." "What?! Two in one day?!" "Yeah." He gets up, changing the subject. "I'm starving, wanna hunt?" I nod, then head off, opening my mouth, breathing in the smell of rabbit. I look over to Stone. He looks at me. Our eyes meet and we both nod. We split up, both sides of the rabbit. We stalk forwards, then go in a circular pattern around the rabbit in the bushes. Stone jumps out and scares it towards me, and I hear a snap as I end the poor prey's life. We walk back to camp and I hear rustling. I see Leaf with another wolf, this time it's male, black with eyes more yellow than mine.

I look to him. "What is your name?" I ask, and he responds after a little pause. "Sky, but I changed it to Rogue." I nod. "Would you like to join my pack?" He nods. I look to Stone. "Well, I guess we did get two pack members in one day." He nods. (Total words: 447)
