"Ok mema, your turn." Austin said while moving his piece. We were playing sorry! and mema was winning. "She just needs 5 more spaces." I told Austin. "I know. We can't let her win. Cross your fingers!" he said. We both crossed her fingers. "I got a 5!" She said. "I win! I win!" she kept saying. "Ok mema no one likes a gloater." Austin said. "It's ok because you know why? we get to eat the cookies!" She said. I helped Austin clean the table as mema brought the now cooled cookies and three cups of milk. "Thanks mema." Said Austin as we devoured them. "I have to go to the restroom." I whispered to Austin. "Go down the hallway and it's the second door to the left." he told me I walked to to restroom as I heard mema say "you got yourself a good on Austin. Don't hurt her, she is the best girl you could ever find." I smiled. "I know. She is the best." I heard Austin say. Then I went to go do my business.

And soon enough, it's Christmas time! I woke up so happy. I ran to my parents room. "Merry christmas!!!!!" I yelled I jumped on their bed and fell in between them. "Good morning sweety. Merry Christmas." They said after giving me a kiss on the cheek. I ran to my yaya's room. I opened the door slowly. "Morning yaya." I said. But she wasn't in there. how weird. Then the most mouth watering fragrance roamed around the house. I went to the kitchen to see yaya making French toast. "smells good. Morning yaya. Merry Christmas." I said kissing her cheek. "Morning julyssa." she said. I made some coffee and checked my phone.

Me: aw baby. Thanks so much. This is literally the best gift.

I ate my breakfast with my parents and yaya then I went to go do a small tradition I've been doing for two years now. I went to my room and got the basket full of mistletoe and I got dressed in a christmas outfit. It was a white long sleeve dress with gray tights my black combat boots and a red scarf, earmuff and glove set. I curled my hair real quick and applied wet little make up. "I'm heading out. Bye guys, I'll be back in a few" I said while grabbing my polaroid camera. I went to the first house. It was of a cute elderly couple. I stuck the mistletoe on the top of their door and knocked. In five seconds they both came to the door. "Hello mr. and mrs. grey. Merry christmas!" I said. "Oh why hello miss Julyssa. It's always nice to see you on Christmas." Mrs. Grey said. "I think y'all know what to do." I said. They went underneath the mistletoe and kissed I snapped a picture and on the bottom I put the usual merry Christmas and my signature. Everybody usually joined. It's just plain fun.

-Austin's P.O.V.-

My and my mom were getting ready for church, the church organized a little play with the kids and it's always adorable. Plus I helped out with the set up so I had to get there early. I was brushing my hair when I heard the doorbell go off. "Can you get that austin?" my mom yelled from her room. "Ok!" I replied going down the stairs. I opened the door to see my gorgeous girlfriend. "Hey gorgeous." I said. "Hey Mr. Handsome. merry christmas!" she said. "What are you doing here?" I asked "every year I go around the neighborhood and staple mistletoe above the door and take a picture for the people living inside."she said. "Well can I share this moment with you?" I asked grabbing her hand. she looked in my eyes. "Sure." she replied. I held one of her hands and used my other to caress her face. I leaned in and kissed her. We pulled away seconds later. "Well. that was amazing." She said. "Yeah. It was." I replied. "Well I better get going gotta go to church in a bit." she said. "Me too. I call you later?" I asked her. "Yeah. bye" she said. "Bye." I said after kissing her forehead. And she skipped off.
