My name is Rose, I was born in 1442 in Romania but grew up in Hungry. I have lost count of the years I have lived. I have lost count of how many vampires I have killed for my father.
My father is leader of the Lican clan. He is the oldest Lican in recorded history. The oldest and wisest of our kind.
My life changed once I met Marcus. Marcus is a vampire. When I first laid ¥es on him, I knew I was in trouble. I am in love with him and he is in love with me also. Our love is forbidden between the species.
Our elders fear the blending of the bloodlines. Marcus and I are commuting the most unforgivable crime between the two species.
Vampires and Licans have been at war with each other for centuries. There are many theorizes on how the war started, but I am unsure which one if the truth. All I know is, I must keep fighting in order to keep my father at bay for he must not find out my secret.
