"Fleur... I want you to come back over," a pathetic boy with blue hair whimpers into the phone line.

"Look, Kyle. I really couldn't give less of a shit about you. It was one time. Not going to happen again," I snap at him. I hooked up with Kyle a week ago. Last... Saturday I think? I have no fucking clue what day it is.

"But Fleur... I think I can change you... I know that I can. I feel an... electricity between us," Kyle practically begs me for another chance. I don't deal with the boys I mess around with. Most are grateful for the one time that I give them. The others? Not so much. They want more. Commitment.

"I told you when it happened. I'm not going to happen again and I'm definitely not going to date you," I roll my eyes and end the phone call. Who the fuck gave this kid my number anyway? He was only a freshman, so I took advantage of him. That's what the upperclassmen do. Why didn't they have to deal with the consequences like me?

I look up from my phone to see a blue eyed boy giving me a questionable stare. He looked... disappointed. How could he be disappointed if he didn't know me. I shoot him a death glare and stand up from my table at the best coffee shop near our campus at Florida State. Catalina Cafe serves food, coffee, and even baked goods. I come here when I'm hungover. I walk over to the door of the cafe and stomp down the street.

I can hear someone calling for me. I turn around and see the blue eyed boy swinging a book around in the air. My favorite book, The Great Gatsby. I give him an inquisitive look. Usually, people don't follow after I give them dirty looks. He's weird.

"You... you forgot your book," he panted. I gently take it from his grasp and he looks into my eyes. He's got a few inches on my height of 5'7".

"And you are?" I ask and roll my eyes.

"James. James Pratt," he smiles politely. I raise an eyebrow. I can't help but laugh at him.

He's wearing a pair of khaki shorts and boat shoes. It definitely clashes against my dark eyeliner, fishnet tights and old school punk cropped tee. His blonde hair is split perfectly down the middle. It doesn't even look that bad. He's got those brown roots growing in. His skin is even a blend of rose and creme. I'd like to mess up his life.

"I'm Fleur," I say, pursing my lips. He grins at me still. It's almost creepy.

"I feel bad for that guy you were telling off in the cafe. Is he okay?" James asks with a small frown. I clench my fists and give him a harsh look.

"He'll be fucking fine." I turn away and start back towards the crosswalk.
