Gigi

"Ugh, my brother and all of his friends are over again!" I whine into the phone to my boyfriend, Noah. "I can literally smell weed everywhere!"

Noah chuckles on the other end of the phone. "How long will your parents be gone for?" he asks.

I sigh. "The whole weekend," I mumble. "This place is literally going to turn into party central. How am I meant to focus on schoolwork?"

Suddenly, the music coming from downstairs gets louder and I groan out in frustration. "Noah, I'll call you back," I say. "I need to deal with that stupid ass of a brother I have!" I hang up and slam the phone down on the bed.

Storming out the room, I curse under my breath as the smell of weed fills my nose. I hate the smell so much.

When I get to the living room, I push open the door. None of the guys look up - I don't think they even know I'm standing there, glaring at them. They're all too interested in pouring out the contents of a small bag on the table. The white powder falls onto the table and they start doing lines with them.

Rolling my eyes, I tear my gaze away from what they're doing. "Hawk!" I yell over the loud music. No answer. "HAWK!"

He looks up at me, an annoyed look on his face. "What?" he snaps.

I grit my teeth. "Turn the fucking music down!" I shout. "I'm trying to study."

Hawk shakes his head and turns his attention back to the drugs. "Go study somewhere else," he tells me, with a dismissive wave of a hand.

I roll my eyes. "No!" I snap. "You better turn the music down or -"

"Or what?" Hawk shouts, looking at me with blazing eyes. They're low and red from drugs. I'm surprised he hasn't OD'd in the past with the amount of shit he's popping or sniffing.

All the guys turn to look at me and I instantly feel uncomfortable, but hold my ground.

"Or I'll tell Mum and Dad what it is you get up to while they're away," I say, raising my eyebrows.

"Ohhhh!" Abel exclaims, covering his mouth and smirking like a fucking child.

"Damn, your little sister is all grown up, threatening you and shit, Hawk!" Lamar says, laughing.

Abel looks at me, the smirk still on his face. "Aren't you like thirteen?" he snickers and I roll my eyes.

"Sixteen," I correct.

"Hmmm," Abel says, not bothering to even look at me.

"Well?" I say to Hawk. "Are you going to turn the music down or what?"

Hawk just shrugs. He turns to look at me and rolls his eyes. He gets up in a fit of anger and puts the music down. "Are you fucking happy?" he snaps.

I smile. "Thanks, bro," I say, leaning up to kiss his cheek.

Hawk's angry eyes soften and he ruffles my hair. "Get upstairs, Gi," he instructs and I nod and follow his instructions.

When I get to my room, I stick my head out of the window, breathing in fresh air. I feel like the smell of weed is clogged up in my nose still.

Sighing, I move away from the window and sit on my bed, looking up at the ceiling.

It's currently nine o'clock. I hope the neighbours don't come by and complain about all the noise Hawk and his friends are making. They normally don't, but there's always a first time for everything.

My head starts to pound and I decide to go and have a shower to clear my mind.

I grab a change of clothes, my towel and lotion, walking out of my bedroom and into the bathroom.

I strip out of my clothes and step into the shower, turning it on. I sigh as the hot water hits me, making my headache disappear a little.

Leaving my forehead against the shower wall, I close my eyes and think about Hawk. I wish he'd stop taking those damn drugs. Doesn't be know there's a million side effects to that shit?

A part of me always wants to tell my parents about Hawk's drug habits, but I don't want to tell them because I know how angry they'd be with him. In a way, I want to protect him - even if he is my older brother.

Once I'm done showering, I step out he shower and wrap my body up in a towel.

Hmm, I wonder if I'll be able to sneak out tonight. Hawk's too interested in getting high, I doubt he will notice that I'm gone. Plus, he hardly checks up on me anyway.

I decide against going out, I'd rather stay at home and have a movie marathon or something, even if my stupid brother and his dumbass friends are making so much noise.

I take the towel off and start creaming myself. When I'm done, I slip on my underwear and nightdress. I grab the towel and start patting my crazy hair down, trying to dry it.

Just when I'm about to open the door and leave the bathroom, someone comes in.

It's Abel.

He looks me up and down, his eyes low and red. "Sorrryy!" he says.

I roll my eyes at the fact that he's off his head. "It's fine, " I mutter, not looking him in the eye. He doesn't move out the way. "Can you please move? I'm tired and I want to sleep!"

Abel chuckles and closes the bathroom door, pushing me inside. "There's no need to rush off," he says. "Damn, when did you grow up, Gigi?" His eyes are focused on something and I look down to find that my nipples are visible through my silk nightdress.

What a disgusting little shit!

I cross my arms across my chest and glare at him. "And when are you going to grow up?" I retort. I push past him and open the door to the bathroom.

"Damn, look at that ass," I hear him say.

I look at him, disgusted. "Excuse me?" I snap.

Abel smiles sweetly. "Nothing, honey," he says, chuckling.

I roll my eyes and leave the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind me.
