“Shit!” Abel says under his breath as he quickly removes himself from between my legs.

I sit up, heart pounding and throat going dry from the sound of Hawk knocking at the door. “Just ignore it, Abel!” I whisper loudly. “He’ll go away eventually.”

Abel’s eyes flicker from mine to the door and he licks his lips, running a hand over his face. “And what if he doesn’t?” he asks me and I sigh heavily.

Rolling my eyes, I get up, pulling on my underwear. “Fine,” I say through gritted teeth as I grab my jeans from the floor. “Just get rid of him.”

Abel nods and I lean forward and peck his lips before walking towards the bedroom and closing the door behind me.

God, why does Hawk have to ruin everything?,  I think to myself. Stupid twiggy little shithead.

I throw my jeans on the bed and listen to what’s going on outside, praying that Hawk will just fuck off.

“Are you here by yourself?” Hawk is asking Abel and I feel my heart beginning to pound against my chest.

“Yeah,” Abel replies and Hawk starts laughing hilariously.

“Fucking weirdo,” I whisper to myself as I wrap my arms around myself.

“Why you lying? I heard some bitch moaning in here from outside.”

He’s basically calling his own sister a bitch, but okay, I think to myself while rolling my eyes and shaking my head. I really don’t understand why Hawk has to refer to every girl as a bitch. What a fucking dick.

“And it smells like perfume and what is this? A blanket? Shit, bro, we’re you cuddling or some shit? This girl got you all soft,” Hawk continues and I honestly just want to go out there and punch him just to get him to shut up. But I obviously can’t do that because he’ll probably kill Abel and then me.

“Nah, I was just cold,” Abel tells Hawk and I start pacing around the room slowly, growing frustrated by each second – maybe it’s just because Abel didn’t get to finish, thanks to stupid Hawk. “What’s up?”

I rub my temples and continue pacing around the room, gnawing at the inside of my cheek. I start flailing my arms around, which is a huge mistake because I end up knocking something over.

Shit, shit, shit! I think to myself as alarm bells start to go off in my head. I start panicking, staying frozen in my place as I anticipate the moment Hawk bursts through that door to find his half-naked sister in his friend’s bedroom.

“What was that?” I hear Hawk ask and my blood runs cold.

“It’s probably nothing,” Abel says coolly, trying to shrug it off.

Luckily, Hawk doesn’t read too much into it and instead, he just continues to make small talk with Abel, who doesn’t sound interested at all.

I don’t even bother to pick up the fallen object, just in case clumsy me does something stupid again.

Instead, I lay back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling as I wait for Abel to get Hawk out, which takes a full ten minutes after Abel manages to come up with the excuse of having to go see his mum.

My head twists to the side when I hear the bedroom door being pushed open and in comes Abel, looking from the object I fell to me, eyebrows raised.

I get up. “I’m sorry,” I say. “It was an accident.”

Abel shrugs and picks the object up, placing it on the nightstand. “It’s fine, baby,” he says, sitting on the edge of the bed.

I shake my head. “No, it’s not,” I sigh. “Hawk could’ve come in here. I know what he’s like, he’s a nosy piece of shit. I could’ve got us caught out and we’d both be dead.”

Abel looks at me thoughtfully. He doesn’t say a word for a long time, just plays with my hair, moving it away from my face. “Let’s just pray he doesn’t catch us together, then,” he says and I fall back on the bed, sighing.

“I hate sneaking around,” I mutter, staring up at the ceiling. “I’m bad at it.” Abel chuckles and I turn to look at him, narrowing my eyes. “I’m being serious, Abel!” I exclaim. “Every time I tried to sneak around with Noah, Hawk would always catch us and he would go insane.”

Abel tugs at his dreads, closing his eyes. “So what are saying? That we should stop this before it goes too far?” he asks and I look at him, lips parted.

I get up. “No!” I protest before quickly closing my mouth and looking down at my hands. “I don’t know. I don’t want my brother to hate you if he ever finds out about this.” I run my hand through my hair, tugging at it slightly out of frustration.

Abel cradles my cheek. “Well, we have to make sure that he never does find out,” he tells me. “Well, for now at least, since our age difference.”

I tilt my head. “You’re only fucking twenty, Abel,” I say with a dismissive wave of my hand. “You’re making it sound like you’re twice my age, not only four years older.”

Abel raises his eyebrows. “You’re a minor, Gi,” he points out and I roll my eyes. "We could get in a lot of trouble."

"Fine, then I guess we have to try really hard to make sure we don't get caught," I tell him.

"Yeah." He nods, taking my hand in his and stroking it.

Without saying I word, I climb into his lap and lift his chin up, making him look me in the eye before pressing my lips against his.

Abel kisses me back, squeezing at my waist gently. He slides his tongue in, deepening the kiss and I moan into his mouth when I feel his hands slip under my top and brush against my bare thighs.

After a couple of minutes, i pull away from him, breathless. "I was thinking . . . maybe you could finish what you started?" I ask, my hands brushing against the back of his neck.

Abel chuckles before spinning us around and pushing me down on the bed, climbing on top of me carefully. "You sure?" he asks and I nod, watching as he moves down and pulls my underwear off.
