"Naruto....I remember. I remember everything."

Hinata

Silence. The whole room was filled with silence. Naruto pulled back from the hug and was staring at me with tears in his eyes.

I felt my own tears stream down my face. I was going to say something but something stopped me.

And that something was Naruto's lips. It surprised me at first so I didn't kiss back. But it didn't take long for me to respond.

Our lips were now moving in sync and I have never felt happier.

I pulled back because stupid humans need to breath. I was lost in his bright blue eyes and it seems he was lost in my eyes too.

I caught my breath and leaned in. This time I initiated the kiss.

Most people talk things out when a loved one recovers from amnesia. And in a way we were talking too. Though no words were said, no words needed to be said. We both understood the message being sent through our connected lips.

Time seemed to slow down as the kiss did.

Old memories came rushing over me like a wave.

Our first date. Our first kiss. Our break up. Our reunification. Our second first date. Our second first kiss.

He pulled away, breaking the kiss after what seemed like forever. I leaned my forehead against his and closed my eyes.

"I love you."

7 years later

Hinata

I stood next to my husband while watching our 6 year old son splash in the water with his 4 year old sister.

"Mama! Mama!" Boruto yelled happily as he ran up to me. Himawari following close behind him.

"Ma...ma.....can...me and Hima build a sandcastle?" He panted.

I crouched down to his level and ruffled his fluffy golden hair.

"Sweety, that's why we're at the beach. We're here so you can have fun and play in the water and make sand castle with Hima. Now go play." I shooed him off.

Boruto ran off with his sister. "C'mon Himaaa!!! Let's go make sandcastles!" His bright blue eyes gleamed with happiness.

I smiled while watching the two siblings play.

"Thank you." I heard Naruto say. I turned to him.

"For what?"

"For everything. You had every right to be mad at me when we were younger but you weren't. You forgave me. You gave me a second chance. You gave me a family." Naruto looked back at me.

"I couldn't have lived without you. You brought happiness into my depressed world. You were my light. I say that we're even. " I turned away and looked back at the kids playing with the sunset in the background.

"How about I make it up to you? Maybe a third kid?" Naruto smirked.

I punched him in the arm.

"You wish. I can barely handle two.  Maybe a date night though. Just the two of us. No kids."

"I could probably make that work." He leaned down and kissed my cheek. I turned to him and pecked his lips before watching the sunset.

"Naruto."

"Hmm?"

"I love you."

"I love you too."

I FINISHED IT!!! I NEVER THOUGHT THAT I WOULD COMPLETE TWO BOOKS!

I FINISHED SCHOOL TODAY TOO! IM NO LONGER AN 8TH GRADER!!!!

*shivers* It's scary to think that I'm going to be in high school. And that in October I'll be able to drive.
