Chapter 9 LIAM'S POV

I run my hand through my messy hair and take in a deep breath as Brandon, the stage director at the X Factor studios, tells us to take it from the top again. This is at least the twentieth time we've went over this song and there's nothing wrong with it so I don't even know why!

I hear the guitar and drums starting, so quickly prepare myself, "My mother told me I should go and get some therapy. I asked the doctor can you find out what is wrong with me? I don't know why I wanna be with every girl I meet. I can't control it, yeah I know it's taking over me. I'm going crazy, can't contain it."

Zayn takes over and I then sing the chorus with the rest of the lads, not really putting effort into it. I should be saving my voice for the real thing! Plus my mind was else where. This whole week had been one of thee most stressful weeks ever and I wasn't even working! I've been getting constant missed calls from Holly but I don't want to talk to her so I ignore them purposely. I'm still trying to work out what to do with her; whether to accept an apology or just end the friendship. If she actually apologises and I do accept it, I don't think I'll be able to trust her again. What she did was just so selfish! It angers me just thinking about it...

"Okay guys, that'll do for now. You all seem well oiled up so I'm not worried about your singing. It's just the props... Pamela could you maybe move the fire machine to the far left?" Brandon exclaims, ushering us off the stage.

"God, I'm starvin', who wants to hit the buffet?" Niall asks as we make our way down the stage stairs.

"I'll join you; my stomach won't stop singing it's national anthem." Louis laughs, causing us all to chuckle.

"I'll go too, maybe some food will make me feel better." Zayn sighs sadly. He found out this morning that Beth has to travel to Belgium for another two weeks. That means he hasn't seen her in two months which has left him pretty love sick, poor guy.

"A little help please!" Someone shouts from behind us as Harry and I start making our way to the dressing room.

We turn round to see Cara carrying our outfits and accessories, piled high in her arms. Harry and I quickly go over and take some of the load while Louis, Zayn and Niall continue on to the buffet. "Ugh thank you! You'd think they'd have got me some helpers or something." She laughs.

I haven't seen her since my suit fitting which went surprisingly well. I was worried about it being awkward or us ending up in a huge argument but after meeting her at the beach, I wanted to change my attitude towards her. She had been quite supportive that day, which was sweet. I admit, I've been a bit rude to her about the whole alcohol thing but I still don't agree with it. She isn't as bad as I thought though, which is annoying; the boys were right and I was wrong, something that rarely happens.

"Oh my god your hair! It looks sick!" Harry exclaims as we reach the dressing room and set down all the clothes and boxes.

I glance at her hair, confused, and notice rainbow streaks in the ends of it. Gosh, that's actually really cool. "That's pretty sick, I've never seen that kind of style before." I say, going over to look at it more closely.

"Thanks." She replies, blushing at all the compliments she's getting.

"How many colours are there?" Harry asks her curiously.
