Amelia's pov~
It was 2:00 in the morning. Because of that bad dream I wanted to walk it off. Nobody was awake, so I quietly put on my jacket and walked outside.
I saw a strange figure out in the woods, but before I could find out what it was a sword came slashing through the vines of the trees and slicing off the bottom half of my leg.
"Wha- Gah!" I fell to the ground checking my phone for the time, 2:56, I gotta get back home. I ran-limped to the castle, once inside I grabbed an old mechanic leg and fixed it up. I connected it to the rest of my leg, (The part that's still on my body) and ran to bed.
Unfortunately I was caught, "Amelia? What are you... Oh, oh my..."
I looked down at my "new" leg. Luce had tears in her eyes, her hands over her mouth. I then limped over and hugged her and Luce broke out in tears, waking up Ark and my brother Ein.
Ein's pov~
I was interrupted from my awesome sleep by the loud noises coming from the hallway. "This is what I get for having a room in the middle of the hallway." I whispered, looking in the mirror at my bed-head ruffled black hair. My green eyes were baggy and I was slouching down Indicating that I was still sleepy.
Rubbing my eyes I got up, put a shirt on (Of course I don't wear a shirt, Pfft! What guy does?) and walked out to the hallway. I saw mamma hugging Amelia and crying so I ran in, "Mamma what happened?"
"Oh nothing sweetheart..." She looked down, as if to one of Amelia's legs. Then I noticed that Amelia's right leg was replaced with, a new metal one?
"Amelia, what happened?" Luce was able to make herself say a few words. I asked too, just to know. Not that I care for her or anything, "Yeah, what happened."
"S-Someth-thing all of you w-won't like."
