Adam Banks ( my brothers best friend)

Chapter 2

Charlotte's pov.

I found myself sitting in front of the TV on the floor of my brothers room with Adam playing NHL on Charlie's Xbox.

"So lets make a deal." Adam said looking over to me.

"Alright". I said.

"If I win you will go on a date with me". He said.

I felt my heart rise to my face. What did he just say. I was lucky Charlie was in the bathroom when he said that.

I regained myself before I spoke. "If I win you have to teach me how to play hockey for 2 weeks".

"Oh really?" He said raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah I always play with Charlie but he's​ never actually taught me how to play." I Said.

"Okay that's fine with me, game on Conway." He said smiling.

"Game on cake eater" I said.

There was no way I was going on a date with Adam Banks.

I would die.

15 minutes later Adam was swearing at the Tv.

"What the hell that's crap, you cheated!". He said.

"C'mon Banksie I won fair and square 5-1". I said laughing.

"I don't like this game no more". He said.

"I thought you and Charlie played together all the time". I said.

"Yeah we do he just sucks". Charlie said.

Adam groaned and fell back on to Charlie's bed.

I looked over at Charlie and he nodded. I knew exactly what he was thinking.

We both got up and jumped towards Banks.
" CAKE EATER YOU WANT SOME CAKE TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER!" We screamed.

" I hate when you use your twin telepathy thing its creepy". He said.

"We get that alot." We both said.

"Stop!" Banks said covering his ears

Me and Charlie just laughed at him.

"Adam your mom's here!"
Mom screamed from the bottom of the stairs.

"Bye Adam" I said and walked out of Charlie's room and went into mine.

A few seconds later Adam appeared at my door.

" Don't worry I didn't forget our deal, meet me at the lake tomorrow at 7 and bring skates." He said

"Okay thanks cake eater". I said smiling.

"Bye Charlotte". He said.

I close my door after he left and changed into more comfortable clothes.

I climbed into my bed and snuggled deep into the covers.

All I could think about was Adam and tomorrow. I was finally going to play some real hockey.

But I couldn't help notice how he seemed excited to help me. Well it is Adam Banks and he does love hockey so it doesn't surprise me.

But me?. I couldn't contain my excitement for tomorrow.

I fell asleep with a huge smile on my face
