I woke up and got ready to meet Guy at the lake. I grabbed my bag of equipment and went out.

I got there and saw he wasn't there yet so I put my new skates on a practiced shooting the puck into the net.

I hit the puck as hard as I could. It curved and went in.

"Wow were did you learn how to do that." Guy said.

"Idk it just happened". I said.

"Okay lets practice pushing each other down". He said.

"Okay" I said.

2 hours later.

"You did good today". Guy said.

"Thanks". I said.

"You should join our team and be a duck." He said and smiled.

I smiled back. " Idk Guy, I don't think they are gonna like me".

"They will love you. I promise". He said.

"Okay but I have to ask my mom and Charlie". I said.

"Okay"

"Okay see you tomorrow" I said.

"Bye" guy said running home.

I got home and asked my mom if I could join the Ducks.

"Hey mom".

"Hi honey, did you have fun?".

"Yeah, I was gonna ask if I could join the Ducks hockey team".

She looked at me. "Sure honey but be careful" She said.

"I will I promise". I said heading to Charlie's room.

"Hey, can I talk to you".

"Yeah sure what up". He said.

"Would you be okay with me joining ur hockey team".

"Hell yeah, you would be great in our team". He said smiling.

"Thanks Charlie".

"Good night". I said.

"Night Charlotte". He called.

I went to bed a couldn't stop thinking about Adam.
