The boys leather shoes trod lightly on the narrow, worn dirt road that led out of a small farming village, two pigs squeeled behind him as the customer bartered them for a pair of leather shoes. He turned his head to the left and saw a toddler, holding his mothers hand, gazing at him. His mother quickly pulled him away and scurried off. The old oak door of the Old Inn swung open. everyone inside stood still as the hooded boy walked in. The wench looked up and down him, then again, she knew what he was straight away. "Upstairs is ready for ya" she had a thick cockney accent "dont forget to lock the door and keep the wondows shut". The boy silently crept up the old oak stairs and went into the bedroom. A large four poster bed sat in the middle, with a warm lighted candle in a silver candle stand next to it, a large armchair in the right corner of the room and  a dressing table sat in the right hand corner of the room. He pulled down the black hood of his faded, worn black cloak to reveal his jet black, glossy, straight, shoulder length hair, his chin was chisled and bald, he had stern eyes that were emotionless after seeing years of secrets and death. He moved hastily now, he emptied his pockets onto the dressing table. A knife, a pistol, a leather money pouch with three silver coinds in it, and a piece of paper. He walked over and sat in the armchair....and waited.

The moon shone through the window and lit up a window shaped patch on the old oak wooden floor. the door swung open and a slender female figure walked in, and over to the dressing table. She had a long blonde pigtail that went all the way down to her waist. she wore black from head to toe. The knife glinted in the moonlight as she picked it up. She trod lightly, to avoid any traps, over to the bed where she looked at the devet covering the shape. she stood there for a few moments until, quick as light, she plunged the knife into the mound. She left the knife there and backed away before turning for the door. As soon as she turned around the boy was standing there behind her, she gasped and jumped back, speechless. He pulled back the duvet to reveal a  blanket mound with a knife sticking out of it. "Christina, a knife? Really? I thought I'd die a much more spectacular death". The girl stood upright and held her head high once again, "I was doing you a favour Scipio, the blue lobsters are all over your trail, your hardly being subtle about it are you? For gods sake! i thought seeming your going to die anyway, i might as well take the reward for myself". Scipio grabbed onto her waist, "Surely you couldn't live without me?", "Scipio! honestly! You have never changed! I was doing you a favour! This deal you bled for with Grin will make you die such a slower more painful death". She pushed past him and walked towards the door, "Your 23 Scipio, you may look like a 17 year old boy, but that doesnt mean you have to act or think like one" and she walked out and looked back at him before she walked down the stairs. He ran out after her but she was already gone. He sat wearily back into the armchair, and looked at the knife sicking out of his bed sheets and wondered....... how much they would cost to replace.
