Thursday

Mal POV

It was the best movie night ever, and we have had maaaany of them. But this one was different, maybe I hadn't been concerned of how lucky I was to have her by my side. This fight made me realised that I should be more grateful for my friends, specially for Evie. Mental note: to thank Carlos and Jay, and tell them how much they meant to me.

We've watched 3 movies, ate popcorn and drinkt hot cocoa (that was our favorite drink in the hole world). We were back, Mevie was back. I realised that we hadn't told the boys that we made up, but maybe if we did they should have come and stayed, and I needed to be alone with her. Maybe we would have a pizza night with them the following day.

When were about to go to bed, she asked me about Ben. The smile that I had at that moment faded away immediately. I was so busy trying to win my best friend back that I forgot about my ex boyfriend. Priorities, you know. He said that he didn't want me to talk to him again, and I knew him well enough to knew he really meant it. I told Evie what he said to me that night.

'Well, Chad was his best friend. It must have been really hard for him. Just try to talk to Ben once, maybe if he sees you have interests in making things up, he will let you in again,' Evie said.

'You are my best friend and it was hard for you, too. And you forgave me. He will call Chad to came back again soon, you'll see. And I swear for God if I see him again, I'll punch him in the face, and that would made Ben angry at me one more time.' I explained.

'But it's different, it's a different kind of friendship as they are different people. I know you are a good person, Mal. Chad isn't, and Ben knows it, just doesn't admit it. It took something huge like that to finally open his eyes,' she said. And, as always, she was right.

'Maybe you're right. I'll go to talk him tomorrow. I just wasn't good with my ownself, I needed you back first to piece me together. Besides, you're my adviser and my make up artist, I'll need your help.' I confesed.

Friday

Evie POV

I've always shipped Mal with Ben. I knew the belonged together, and I wanted them back. I wasn't going to let them end their relationship because of an as*hole like Chad. I needed Ben to realise how his "best friend" was, that it was him who should be in the Isle of The Lost with the rest of the villains.

I was at the library looking for some information for the History homework when Audry sat next to me and started talking.

'Hey! I know that you are one of the people who don't want to see me, but...'

'Wow, how did you know?,' I interrupted her.

'Listen, please, this is something important,' she insisted. 'Chad used a spell on Mal that night, that's why she couldn't resist it. Okay, that's all. Bye!,' she finished, and run away.

'Wait!!,' I screamed. Everybody turned around to see what was going on. I remembered that I was at the library, so I shut up and sat again in silence. I couldn't believe it! Well, actually I could. So it wasn't Mal's fault at all! She would have the perfect reason to get Ben back. I couldn't stay there for long, so I got up and run to find Mal.

She was at the Spanish class, so I waited for her until it finished. When she came out of the classroom, I grabbed her by her arm and took her to somewhere isolated.

'Audry told me that Chad was using a spell that night, that's why you were so attracted to him.' She couldn't believe what I've just said.

'What??So, that means that now I have the perfect excuse to go to talk to Ben!!.' she sounded so excited. 'But, why Audry told you that? She was supposed to be his... whatever. I don't undersantd. This is too good to be true.'

'I know it's weird, but it  seems to make sense. You never liked him, but that night there was something that forced you to kiss him back. Maybe Audry couldn't keep the secret anymore and bursted out.' I didn't know why, but I felt that Audry was being honest about it.

Mal POV

Evie helped me to choose the outfit I was going to use to see Ben. I had't seen him since that night and I was quite nervous.

'Here! This green pashmina will match with your eyes

'Here! This green pashmina will match with your eyes.', she said as she was putting it around my neck. I couldn't hide that smile of happiness I had at that moment because my best friend was trying to do everything she could to see me again with boyfriend.

I realised that I could actually live without Ben, my mom, and even without Carlos and Jay, but never without Evie. I felt like we were orphan sisters who had to survive with only the support of each other. And our lives had been quite like that.

'Evie, please come with me,' I asked her.

'You serious? Why do you need me there?,' she didn't sound enthusiastic.

'What if he doesn't believe me? I will need you, then'

'He will, believe me. You don't need me there.'

'But...'

'Mal, do you trust me?', she interrupted me.

'More than anything.'

'Well, so see you when you come back,' she said. She gave me that 'good luck' hug and I went on my way to Ben.
