Aaaaand introducing Tyler's POV
Tyler's POV
I got into the back seat of the car, thinking about Taylor. How she smiled at me. Her smile sent chills through my body. Why couldn't I say anything?? I could've at least said "hi" or "nice to meet you" or something. It made me sound like a jerk.
Way to go, Tyler. That's a great first impression you made there.
Maybe tonight I could properly say hi. Introduce myself to her. I was only worried about it because I didn't want her to hate me. I had to make sure that she liked me, at least as a friend. This girl was amazing and I haven't even spoken one word to her. Ethan talked about her all the time. Honestly, I loved her before I met her.
Hearing her quietly chat with Mark in the front seat, made me fall for her a little more every second. I couldn't wait to actually gather the courage to talk to her.
Taylor's POV
"So, what do you think?" Mark asked me, as soon as we walked in the door. I then heard the clicking of nails on the hardwood floor and I saw a fluffy, golden dog run in. "That's Chica."
Chica jumped up on me, causing me to fall backwards. She then jumped on my chest and began licking my face. I could tell that she liked me instantly.
"TAYLOR!! YOU'RE HERE!!!" Ethan yelled from the kitchen. He ran in and practically shoved Chica off of me and pulled me into his arms.
"Hey, blueberry! I haven't seen you in months!!" I exclaimed. He released me and grabbed his phone, opening his camera. "Pictures? Already?"
He nodded anxiously. I put my arms around his neck and smiled. He smiled his normal goofy smile. On Instagram, he posted:
CrankGameplays: I'm so happy she finally moved out here!! I've missed this girl!
Mark went into the kitchen to go make chicken and dumplings for dinner. Ethan pulled me onto the couch, along with Tyler, to play Mario Kart.
Before long, Ethan had to take a bathroom break. He ran to the bathroom, and if I'm not mistaking, I heard an evil laugh come from him. I glanced at Tyler from the corner of my eye and I saw him looking at his phone. I was worried that maybe he didn't want me living here. Maybe he didn't like the idea that Ethan invited me to live with them. But then why did he smile at me? It was definitely a genuine smile, I know a fake smile.
"Wooooow. You guys are bonding," Mark joked, walking in smirking. "Well, Taylor. Just letting you know, we call him 'One-Word Tyler' because he doesn't really say much. He's kind of shy, I would say."
Tyler looked up at Mark rolling his eyes at him. Mark made a gesture to me, telling Tyler to say something.
"Ehh, you guys will be dating soon enough, trust me," he said before walking out to finish the dinner. Ethan then wandered into the kitchen. I heard quiet whispers.
Ethan's POV
I heard Mark tell the two of them that they would be dating soon enough. He walked back into the kitchen, and I followed.
"So, plan failed?" I asked, somewhat sad. He nodded. "She's always been shy around people other than me. Maybe I just need to be around for her to talk."
"Tell some embarrassing stories tonight at dinner. Mess them up, make her correct them. She'll have to talk then," Mark suggested. "I could do the same about Tyler. As soon as we get him talking, they'll be talking non-stop!"
I put my fist out for Mark to fist bump me. This plan would work. Mark is right. They'll be dating before they know it.
Two updates back to back! I might even have a third in there. Not sure yet. Honestly, I just started, but I'm proud of this. Well, thanks for reading. Byeeeee!!
