"She's up all night 'til the sun
I'm up all night to get some
She's up all night for good fun
I'm up all night to get lucky
We're up all night 'til the sun
We're up all night to get some
We're up all night for good fun
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky
We're up all night to get lucky"
"Dis is my shit," I say just before chugging down a can of Dr. Pepper.
"Nah the song that would make my day right now would be Shots by LMFAO. That is the shit," Alexis contradicts.
I pause a moment thinking about if I should start an argument before saying, "Okay. That's a pretty good song too."
We sit there just listening to the song for awhile. We're a weird group that either goes and talks about everything that's on our mind or just calm down and silently think. We don't have much of an in-between. This calm mood only usually sets in when we're tired or sad.
"It's 10:00. We are all tired. And we are teenagers. This isn't right," Emily says interrupting the song.
The only replies she gets are quiet moans of worn-out protest as a new song comes on.
"I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?
I need to know now, know now
Can you love me again?
Can you love me again?
I told you once I can't do this again, do this again, oh, no
I told you once I can't do this again, do this again, oh, no"
"Okay Emily's right. We should go out and do something. This song is too happy and energetic for falling asleep anyways," Joe says over the song.
"I'm hungry," I tiredly say.
"There's a Taco Bell like a mile away isn't there?" Alexis asks.
"Yea," I answer.
"Oooh I want to try one of those Baja Blasts," Emily says.
"Let's go up there then," she suggests.
"Eh," I reply.
"Shut up and stop being lazy," she says.
"Isn't a mile kind of a long ways a way though...?" Joe asks.
"If you walk fast enough, we could get up there in 15 minutes," Emily tells him.
"Alright. Let's do this," Joe says as he gets to his feet.
"Crap. Fine," I say as I also get up.

"Oooh do they still have the Doritos Locos Tacos?" Emily energetically inquires as we enter the front door of Taco Bell.
"Well I don't know. Probably. We'll see on the menu," I answer.
"Well I hope so. I've only had them once before, but they tasted amazing," she notes.
"Probably because they use 40% beef. True story. Saw it on the news," Joe says.
Alexis goes up closer to the menu before saying, "Ohhh Joe. Anyways I'm gonna get a breakfast burrito and a water."
