"Joe. I'm gonna tell you one more time. Harry Potter. Sucks. Cock," I tell him for about the dozenth time today.
"There are millions of people that would like to disagree," he fires back.
"He should've died so many times already," I say in an attempt to show him how stupid the series is, "There's the characters getting out of one or two situations that a normal person would've died in. It's another thing when a little white kid can start doing magic and stuff better than Kobe can play basketball."
"A hater. That's all you are. Just a hater."
"Okay. Whatever."
"You guys are complete idiots," Alexis says, making fun of us, "You two spent the entire hour of class just debating on if Harry Potter is stupid or not when you were supposed to come up with an idea for a story and get a 50-paged story started."
Emily giggles while writing another sentence on their almost-finished prologue.
"Eh," we both say in unison just before the bell rings.
"Hey do you all wanna come over to my house tomorrow to work on these stories?" I ask as we gather all of our books.
"Sure," Joe says.
"I guess," Emily says.
"You just want Emily and I to help you with your story, don't you?" Alexis says in an annoyed tone.
"Pshaww...no..." I say while trying to look away from her frightening stare.
Alexis sighes before saying, "Fine," in a fake-unenthusiastic voice.
------
"See ya Mom. See ya Dad," I say to my parents as they close the door to go to a friend's house right on schedule, 6 PM. They should be out 'til at least midnight; just enough time to have some friends over.
