"I couldn't stop myself from falling for you Swara." She heard a voice behind her ear and opened her eyes in shock.Swara turned around to see who whispered in her ear. There was no one near her, not anywhere close was anyone in her field of vision. She was alone and felt weird. She began to feel her heartbeat at her throat and an uneasiness! She walked back to her cabin. While she walked, she noticed something lying in front of her cabin door. She excitedly walked fast towards it and picked it up! It was her favourite and she knew how rare it was!
"Oh my, who might have dropped this here? Maybe the passengers from the next cabin, it's so beautiful, should I take it or leave it. Oh! I really want this! What to do." She thought to herself, which was loud enough for anyone passing by to hear!
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as though she wanted to store the fragrance for a long long time. It smelled just like any other rose, the beauty lied in its colour. She took the flower and went to the next cabin and knocked.
"Is this yours?" She asked looking at the young guy at the door seated in the cabin "I'm really sorry to disturb you" she added an apology when she saw a pretty girl seated, who she guessed was his wife and they were probably newly wed or she interupted an aniversary celebration which she could tell from the decorated cabin!
"No! It's not ours." The guy replied with hostility.
"Ok!" Swara turned and giggled when she noticed the door behind her shut even before she actually turned! "Someone seems to be in a hurry" Swara cracked and laughed to herself!
She stopped and looked at the rose in her hands "Hey, now that you have no owner, I'm adopting you! Hah, hah, you seem quite happy about that haan! Ofcourse you will be, because someone plucked you and carelessly dropped you, now you have me to take care of you till you......." Swara paused and pouted. She kissed the rose softly and whispered "Its ok." She slowly walked to the cabin and settled down.
Swara might seem quite crazy but this was how she is. She hid this side of hers from everyone, she couldn't even see a flower in pain, only Gauri knew her that much! She thought people would take advantage, if they find out that you are emotional! Swara always behaved like a tough lady.
She just couldn't take her eyes off that flower till Gaurt interrupted.
"Where did you get that from?"
"It was lying down there" Swara replied pointing her finger towards the cabin door and settled down on the seat.
"I couldn't stop myself from falling for you Swara." She again heard that voice behind her ears." She realized that the voices were from her head. She felt confused, but didn't force to think further. She acted normal before Gauri noticed the confusion.
"Gauri, do you know that these blue roses can't exist naturally, it is said that there used to be but now it is created by adding dye to the roots of white roses. Since these roses doesn't exist in nature, they symbolize longing and unattainable love. Someone longing for their love must have dropped this rose probably. And it's also believed that, those who get this rose, like this, I mean by chance, his/her wishes will be granted!"
"Oh! Then give it a try Swara, what's your wish?"
"I wish that the person who dropped it, the one longing for his/her love to get that person in life if they actually loved each other and there is nothing more perfect than that in both their lives."
