Lights

As the lights go up

The stage brightens up

As you walk on your life lights up.

A the lights start to fade

You can walk away

But I didn't.

I stopped mid stage l

Looked up and for that split second I felt no pain

Nothing.

I was happy

Looking up to see all of those little blinking

lights made me realize I will be okay.

Than I walked off and continued on with my day.
