It was pretty surreal seeing Riley that pissed. I'm kinda glad that what I did didn't make her that angry but it hurts me that I couldn’t be there to calm her down and talk to her. 

I haven't been able to concentrate on getting songs done or practicing the dances. And I don't have Riley around to check it or add to it. 

I walked into History in a foul mood and sat down at my desk. I stared out the window the whole time, the teacher wasn't even here so it didn't even matter. Someone tapped me on shoulder and I tried to act like I didn't notice but then they shoved me.

I looked back and it was Ray Ray.

"What?"

"What's wrong with you?"

"Like you don't know"

"C'mon man. Just go talk to her already"

"She doesn't want to talk to me. She's avoiding everybody"

"I know but try to at least get her to listen to you"

"I don't even know what I'd be saying. I want to apologize but she won't tell me what I did. Ray, I can't function without her. Everything is falling apart right in front of me"

"Take it easy. I know it's hard. We need her almost as much as you do. Here's what I think you should do. Since you guys connect with words and music, try going that way. But what I think you should first is find her cousin and see if she knows anything and maybe ask the girls too. Y’all might be best friends but I know she probably wouldn’t talk to about all that feminine stuff"

"Alright. I'll try that. Thanks"

It was about time for lunch so I went looking for Dani. I found her around her locker with some of her other little freshman friends. 

"Hey, Dani?"

"Oh hey. What's up?"

"Can I talk to you? "

Her friends were pretty much melting my face off with their eyes.

"Sure"

She told her friends that she'd see them later and followed me.

"So what is it?"

"It's about Riley"

"Ok"

"Has she said anything....about me?"

"Not really. After that whole thing last month, she hasn't spoke much at all. To be honest I actually haven't seen her in a while"

"What do you mean?"

"She's been disappearing lately. Especially at night"

"Where is she going?"

"I don't know"

"Anyways. I need your help. I hurt Riley really bad but I have no clue what I did. I want to apologize and talk to her but I know she won't want to talk to me"

"So what do you want me to do? "

"To start, could you find out what I did?"

"Ok. I know she misses you too. You guys are good together. I'll help as much as I can"

"Thanks. Everyone is suffering without her.....mostly me"

"Don't worry. We'll work this out"

Next I went to the gym because I heard the girls saying they were practicing during lunch.
