I was sitting on a rock in the woods of Portland. Klaus was standing around as his hybrids were waking up. I looked up and felt like I was being watched. I saw something move behind a tree.

"I'll be back." I said to Klaus as I got up.

"Where are you going  love?" He asks me.

"If you must know. I'm going to to use the bathroom." I say as I walk away.

I smelt the air and followed the scent, to a woman. I know that scent, "mom?"

The woman turned around and I saw her face. A sob came out and I ran to her. I throw my arms around her.

"My little coyote."

I cried harder as she called me by my old nickname. She pulled away from me and looked into my eyes. Hers flashed gold and mine a cold steel blue.

"How are you here?" I ask wiping my eyes.

"The vile to the other side is down for a little bit."

"Is Kiley here too?"

"Yeah, she is. Kiley!"

My little sister came out behind a tree. She walked up to us.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kill you or mom. It was an accident."

"We know it wasn't your fault." Kiley said.

I fell to my knees and felt little arms wrap around me. I picked up Kiley and stood up.

"So, why are you here?" I ask.

"To talk to you about Klaus, he is your mate. Its okay to have Klaus as a mate. Don't hate him for how he does things and acts."

We heard footsteps behind us and turned around, Klaus was there.

"Malia, Stefan called." He stopped when he saw my mom and sister.

"Evelyn?" He asks as he looks at my mom.

"Hey Klaus, I see you found Malia, again."

"Wait again? And you two know each other."

"Klaus was the one who I told you about when you were little." She says.

"The hybrid that would protect and give me all the love in the world, and I would be there for him and do the same for him." She looked at me and smiles.

"Kiley, its time to go. Give Malia the thing you wanted her to have." I sat Kiley down and kneeled down to her level. She pulled out her stuffed coyote and handed it to me. Mom crouched down and grabbed my arm, she puts her bracelet that I made her on my arm. I take the coyote and give her and mom one last hug.
