Not good enough.

Not pretty enough.

Not enough.

As she looked at the curse on the wall

Showing her sad eyes

As she listened to the anthem of sadness from her heart

A tear rolled down her cheek.

Suddenly that look became unbearable,

Image of her face in the mirror strangled her

So she took two steps back from it

To catch with the pace of her heart, to breathe.

Her hair covered the half of her face,

Tears the other half,

She clenched her teeth

Preparing herself for a next paragraph.

Most of people would call this step as a cowardice

As it symbolizes an escape

But she knew how much bravery was necessary in that moment

To let the darkness of closed eyes to enter the scene.

Why bravery?

What kind of description is that?

Bravery to let all of the worries and sounds to swallow you,

Bravery to feel the current pain at its fullest point.

Darkness that came brought scenes from her past

Which would feed on sadness and torture of her heart

She let them enter once again

Ready again for the next step.

"I just don't see you that way."

"I found someone else."

"You're such a good friend."

I love you.

"Well, he seems not interested in you."

"I'm sorry, I'm not gonna make it."

"Oh, I just had to meet with her.

Hope you're not mad, you know what love does."

I forgive you.

"It's just that she doesn't agree that I have female friends,

I apologise for her jealousy."

"I hope you understand."

I'm okay.

"You'll always have a special place in my heart,

You know that right?"

I don't.

"Goodbye."

That was the point she started losing her breath.

That was the point she opened her eyes again.

That was the point she took a deep breath

That was the point...

The point she smiled.

No, it wasn't a fake smile.

Those scars,

That past,

Those tears...

I am strong.

He chose her

Life did its game

But I took those two steps forward to the mirror again

And looked at that curse on the wall again.

"I am...

Good enough.

I am...

Pretty enough.

I

Am

Enough."
