8:57 am. School has already started, and here I am in the white room. It seems somewhat familar, but I don't recall ever being in here. Speaking of that, how did I get in here? My vision is blurry, so I try to focus on one thing until it clears up. That doesn't work, so I resort to closing my eyes instead. The room is taking shape, and I can see a dresser, a closet, a bathroom, and a bedside table with a glass of water on it. I look around to see if anyone else was in here. Doesn't look like it, thankfully, it's weird waking up to find someone has been there for who knows how long. Who took me here? Did my parents call someone to drop me off here? So many questions race through my mind, and yet I can't find or think of any answers for them. I lay back down, only to find a nurse come in my room with a small plastic bottle in her hand shortly after.
"It seems like you're up! How did you sleep? Does your head hurt?" My head? Well, what the hell happened to my head? I didn't bother to answer any of her questions, I just wanted to find a mirror to find out what she meant by that. I'm guessing there's one in the bathroom, at least I hope so, so I walk to the bathroom and switch on the light to look at myself. Nothing major has happened, like a big scar across my eye or a gash on the side of my head, but my eyes were so bloodshot and my skin was pale. I tilt my head to see if my neck was like that too, and sure enough, it was. I also see that my skin is cracked and dried. Can I have some lotion, nurse lady? That would be nice right now. I put the back of my hand on my forehead, and it feels extremely warm. I think I have a fever too.
"Lady, i've got a few questions for you. Who are you? How did I get here? Why do I look like this?" She hesitated into answering those questions, but she soon answered. I guess what happened is that i passed out on the stairs, my parents called the hospital, and they carried me off here. Looks like I guessed right. She said she didn't have enough information to tell me why I looked like this, but I highly doubt it. She never mentioned her name, not even a name tag that says "Hello! My name is ____" Pretty strange if you ask me.
I can start to feel myself getting lightheaded, so I go back to my bed and lay down some more. "Now the last thing you're gonna want to do is get up and walk around for long periods at a time. You still have to recover for two more weeks!" She then walked out and closed the door. Not even a get well soon. Thanks? I guess she left me pills next to the water on the bedside table, and it wasn't very many. I took the bottle and opened it. 7 white round pills. What am I supposed to do with these? It doesn't look like this would last me for the next two weeks. They don't say how many you take or even when to take them, so I didn't take any, just to be safe. It's pretty boring in here, so I lay down to stare at the wall and think about last night.
Am I just dehydrated? No, i'm sure they wouldn't give me two weeks of recovery time and pills, they would just give me water, which I have. Am I sick? Possibly, but with what? Maybe I got it from Jack, he wasn't acting like his usual self, he could have been feeling sick. But if that's true, then why would he call me? And why would he be at school? It just doesn't add up. I can't figure out what is wrong with me, so I switch sides and stare at the wall and the clock for the rest of the day.
(THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE AND THEY DON'T-)
It's 7:38 pm, and the nurse comes in again. She brings in a metal tray with a pitcher of water with ice cubes in it, and something else with glass. "I brought you your other medication to prevent any infections. You are to take this every other day at 8:00 pm! Don't forget, you'll regret it!" And shuts the door on me like that. Again, no get well soon. I mean, if I was a nurse, I wouldn't want to talk to anybody either. But jeez, I wouldn't ne rude about it! I get up and out of bed to grab the things on the tray that were placed on the dresser. I'm surprised it's dark out there, usually the lights don't shut off til 10:00. I look back to the windows- only to find that the blinds have been closed. I guess that would do a lot. I try to make the trip to the dresser fast so I don't get lightheaded. I make it to the dresser and pick up the glass thing. Well not a glass thing, more like a huge needle. About 6 inches long, at least? When I picked it up, it seems to glow with a neon purple color. Doesn't look like any other medication i've seen, that's for sure. There was a label under the needle, all wrapped it plastic. I can't tell what it says, if it says anything at all. It's probably important, so I look through the drawers in the dresser, and I find a flashlight in the bottom one. I grabbed it, pressed the button. Nothing happened. I take it apart to see if the batteries were either dead or not there at all. Looks like there weren't there at all. Oh well, i'll open one part of the blinds to shine the paper in the light along with the needle. I grab the needle to walk over to the blinds, but I may or may not have accidentally dropped it.
CRASHAKA!!
Oops.
Well, there goes the medication. Which is probably a good thing since it started melting away a hole trough the floor, never thought that would happen. Then again, the damn thing was glowing, that should have been a big no-no right off the bat. I feel a sharp pain on my left ankle. I look down to find a small purple dot on it, and blood aroung the outside. My blood. "Oh shit, shit, SHIT!!" I grab my sheets from the bed and try to wipe it off. It didn't last long because the sheet coroded in the blink of an eye. I needed the nurse right now, and there was no way to contact her from my room, so my only choice was to venture out of my room. But first, I drink some water, just in case. Ahhhhh, the ice feels good on my burning tounge..... I open my door, look out, and I find i'm the only one in this entire hallway.
(THEY LEFT YOU FOR A GOOD REASON AND YOU KNOW IT)
To the left was no doors or signs, and the hallway was ended with a wall. To the right was who knows what. The lights were half on and half off, the ones that were off or broken were farther away, so I couldn't tell what was down there. Going left wouldn't do me any good, so I put a steady hand on the wall, incase I got dizzy, and walked down. 15 minutes pass by, and when I look behind me, I can barely see the lights that are turned on. It's almost as if they are leaving me to face whatever is in here. If there is anything in here, that is. There really shouldn't be anything because there were no door frames or handles that my hand ran across. Then again, they could be on the other side of the hallway. *slllluuuUUUURRRP* I stop right where I am. I heard this behind me. I whipped my head around, and there was nothing there. Whatever it is, it's in my room. I stare at the door to my room, and I see this black liquid slowly coming from arounf the door frame. I can feel my heartbeat getting faster, and faster, and I can hear it pounding in my head. What the hell IS that?
