(Chapter 7)

He pulled out two ps4 controllers and inserting the game into the console. He gave me one of the controllers. The game started and the battlefield he chose was the map of an deserted airport. The only soldiers there were me and him. Within minutes I quickly shoot him down, quickscoping him. Next few minutes I kill him yet again using various trick shots that I've learned through my time versing my brother. His eyes turned frustrated and he turned to me.

"You are the first one to have ever killed me in this game ughh. I'm the best how the hell."

"Well I guess you've met your match babyboy or should I say princess."

"Ughh, you're gonna die!"

We played for hours and I had a winning streak of around five while he only beat me twice.

"There's no way you could beat me baby. Maybe we should play with punishments next time, that'll make it more exciting."

He glared at me and it made me chuckle slightly. The more I get to know him the cuter he is to me. I don't understand why. This isn't my usual self, I don't fall easily and it's frustrating me. I'm turning 18 in a week, hopefully by then my mind will be clear and I can find my mate. I wonder what he or she will look like or smell like. Scent is important to me. My sense of smell is way more sensitive than any other wolves. Speaking of scent, Tae smells surprisingly nice but why do I get the feeling he smells kinda like me, a little muted due to the deoderant. He said I should never go into his room, that is kind of suspicious if I do say so myself. My mind lingers at the thought. Maybe I'm reading too much into this.

My eyes begin to wonder, ever since I came here everything about me seems off. I can only concentrate on Tae as if something is connecting us. I don't usually flirt with anyone, people flirt with me but I find myself wanting to tease him. I walk into the bathroom, looking into the mirror my eyes trained on myself. I close the door and lock it behind me. I wash my face to get rid of any thoughts troubling me right now. I have to be safe for the pack to survive. Mother and father should be fine but how's Jimin. He's a beta, I usually defend him and I'm not there, how is he. This link didn't work but I hope it works now. I steady myself by holding onto the sink basin and stare directly into my eyes as it turns gold. I link through to Jimin hoping for a reply this time.

"Jimin, oi Jimin, you there? Where the fuck are you? Are you safe? Are you okay? Are you nearby? Please reply so I know where you are. Hyung... please be safe."

I hear a shuffle on the other end and I stand up straight.

"Hello? Kookie? Oh My God KOOKIE!! You called me HYUNG FINALLY!!! Are you safe? Are you ok? Hyung is worried. I saw you get attacked. "

"Thank God you finally replied. I tried to contact you yesterday but the link didn't get through. Where's Mum and Dad? Are they okay."

" I think they're okay I mean they disappeared together. The whole clan building got destroyed Kookie. We all had to flee. I have no idea where everyone is. Those pathetic bastards ambushed us at our weakest I thought they would've delayed it a bit but I'm guessing that they're afraid of you when you finally reach adulthood. I mean that's when all your power is unleashed right? Who wouldn't be scared of my little bro."

"Wait the pack buildings are destroyed? Everyone fled? Where the hell are you then?"

"Uhhh funny story, I ran away too and kinda got injured, but not as badly as you. Someone saved me before I was killed. That guy happened to be my mate."

"Woah, way to go hyung I knew you were a bottom. Where are you now?"

"Shut the fuck up Kook. Where the hell do you think I am. I'm at my mates place. He's kinda hot too. His name is Min Yoongi. You guys need to meet like seriously. He's all into that music crap that you like. He's a rapper in the human town east of the clan he's of course an alpha. Speaking of which where the hell are you?"

"Uh I think we're in the same town Minnie except I am at this hot guy's house who took me in cause I was injured. I have no idea what he is but he's cute."

"I am Kookie you retard. When we meet up I am so gonna beat the shit out of you."

"Sorry not sorry. We might as well not meet seeming as you have enough energy to threaten me. I seriously can't wait till you find your mate next week. It might be that cute guy you're staying with Haha."

"I will seriously murder you Jimin and how the hell is he my mate? I swear he's human. I can't mate with a human. That doesn't even work."

"Wait human!??! Are you sure? You shouldn't be attracted to him then. Its virtually impossible to be attracted to a human. I mean I can't do it it's just weird."

Right at that moment there was a knock on the door

"Jungkook are you okay? You have been there for quite a long time."

"Yeah Tae, I'm fine."

I heard a snicker at the other end of the link.

"Pfft I must be disturbing something. I gotta blast then see ya."

"W-wha- Minnie-"

Then the link was cut off and I sighed as a response. I walked to the door to see Tae standing there in nothing but a dress shirt and no pants, just boxers. His legs were on full display. I gulped at the sight of him. He was just so hot and I don't understand how I am this attracted to him. He's doing things to me.

"What the hell were you doing in there? Did you take a shit or something?"

I regained my composure as soon as he talked and leaned against the doorframe smirking.

"Are you trying to seduce me with that? Its pretty revealing for a boy with your pretty face."

I pulled his face to meet with my eyes, smiling and for a split second his eyes flash into a shade of blue. I swear my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. There's something about him that he's hiding from me but I can't put my finger around it.
