My eyes travel across the room avoiding anything but his piercing gaze. I take a bite of the food he cooked in front of me slowly.

"Ahem."

I whip my face back to meet with his eyes.

"So Jungkook, I want to know about you so I can decide whether or not to kick you out."

"What! I thought you said I was allowed to stay here."

"Yes I did but you're a stranger so I need to know your circumstances. You see Kookie I don't trust people easily, especially people who come barge into the store with no home and a massive bite mark on their gut."

I grin at his statement.

"Feisty aren't ya. If you wanted to know me you could've just asked instead of threatening to kick me out. Isn't that what normal people do?"

"W-wha? I d-don't want to know you, you're nothing to me. My issue is if you're suspicious or not."

"Hehe, cute. If you want to know so bad you could just ask. I mean in exchange for letting me stay here i'd be rude if I ignored your requests, so, fire away."

I smirked at him causing his face to flush red.

"Y-you're so cocky and annoying."

He said trying to act tough. I laughed and leaned back on my chair and posed in the most confident posture with one arm resting on the back of the chair and one leg crossed over the other.

"Aha what can I say, that was how I was raised."

"A-anyways, when is your birthday."

I raised an eyebrow questioning his choice of question.

"Really? That's the first thing you ask?"

"Have you ever thought about starting off simple? I can't just dive into personal questions."

"September 1st. At least you have a way with words."

"That's in a week. We should celebrate! You're becoming an adult!"

He bursts from his chair with a look of excitement, almost childlike. I smile internally at his statement. This is the first time someone was this excited for my birthday. I mean other wolves are scared and my adulthood. I lean forward with my head resting on my arm on the table and gaze closely into his eyes.

"You seem excited babyboy. Is it cause I'm legal now? I mean I wouldn't mind doing it early if its with you."

His face flush into an even brighter pink with his mouth open in shock.

"S-stupid, idiot, asshole, I could never have a decent conversation with you."

He points directly at me his adorable personality is very tempting. I've never had this much fun with anyone before. For some reason my wolf feels somewhat restless. This is a first.

"But baby, normal conversations are boring."

"The only thing I got from you is that you're a pervert and it's been 15 minutes!"

"Sorry baby but it's in my nature, do continue asking questions."

"Ugh!! Don't call me baby."

"Oh? How about princess then? Or maybe darling."

"B-baby is fine. Anyways how did you get injured yesterday?"

I paused for a second thinking about how to reply because I can't really say I'm a powerful wolf alpha and I was weak yesterday and got attacked. He'd think I'm a psychopath.

"Uh, my family was ambushed and we all needed to run away."

His face turned into a look of concern.

"Why would they ambush you and your family?"

"That's confidential information sweetheart."

I forced a smile. I was worried about my family. Especially my brother. He ain't exactly the strongest in the family even though he's older than me. I want link him to see what's happening but no one was able to reply to me.

"Um, anyways. Can I check on your wound to see if it's okay?"

I was a little confused and reluctant because I knew it healed already. I'm an alpha for fucks sake. But showing him would make him suspicious but whatever. I don't care anymore, he can figure it out himself. I took off my shirt and put it on the table. He began to take off my bandages. After he took it off he stared at the injury with shock written on his face.

"I-it's healed. I swear last night it was massive. How is it already healed? That isn't possible."

I shrugged

"I don't know maybe I just heal really fast."

"But normal humans don't heal that fast."

"I do"

He stopped pressing the issue further and I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding.

"A-anyways now that you've healed maybe we can play a game or something"

I was intrigued

"Game?"

"Yeah, a game. Ever heard of Call of Duty?"

"Of course."
