The guy that changed my life

I got up and saw the person I was looking for. The cop. He saw someone he knew but I don't care. I ran up to him and pinned him up to the car and got in his face. I noticed his eyes. They were blue and they had a look in them, the look that said that he was scared, confused, relieved, and tired. I had to shake that all away though. "You! You hand cuffed my brother to the top if that roof and didn't go back for him!" I yelled at him and was ready to hit him.

Someone grabbed my wrist and spun me around and I came face to face with Shane. Our faces were close like extremely. I glared at him. I yanked back out of his grip and turned towards the cop. I felt tears come to my eyes. I sat with my back against the car. "I cant believe you can be that heartless." I said with my voice cracking. He crouched next to me." Im sorry. He was a danger to all of us. Nearly got us killed...." T-Dog cut him short. "I had the key." I went back for him. I had it in my hand and went to unlock him but I dropped the key. I fell and dropped in and it went down a hole. I did chain the door tho so nothin' could happen to him." He said.

I pulled my legs up to my chest and cried silently. The cop got up and I heard him running. Then I heard Carl and Lori crying. I looked up and saw them huggin' and it clicked. Lori and the cop are married. Then I thought, Shane. Shane and Lori have been together. Everyone knew. It was kinda obvious. I put my head in my lap and cried all of my pain away. Then I heard rustlin' in the bushes and saw Daryl.

I ran to him and tackled him. "Whats wrong Lilly?" He asked. "Merle. He's gone." I said. "How? What happen'?" He asked. "T-Dog and Merle got in to a fight and the cop hand cuffed him and then T-Dog went back for him but dropped the key and it slid into a hole but he managed to chain the door up that leads to the roof where Merle's tied up." i explained. He was mad and started yellin'. Then dad flashed through my head and I got scared so I ran behind the cop like a kid and Daryl's face lightened. "Lilly I'm sorry." He said and opened his arms up and I ran and he picked me up in a hug like if I was a kid.

"He wont hurt you again. I promise." He whispered in my ear. I let go and walked up to the cop. "Sorry I yelled at you. Plus pinning you to the car and sorry for about almost punching you. Im Lilly by the way." I said in a rush. I stuck my hand out. He took it and we did a shake that you would see from two men that just made a deal. "Its fine. I understand. Im Rick." He said smiling. His smile gave off a warm feeling that let you know he's a good person. I saw Shane in the corner of my eye and he looked jealous at our hand shake since I did reject his. Shane gave off a bad feelin' so thats why I rejected his hand shake.

"Its nice to meet you, properly." I laughed. "Yea. Hopefully next time You see me in a bad mood you wont pin me to a car or actually punch me or any other violent thing you can come up with." He laughed. Even his laugh was perfect, everything's perfect about him, his eyes, his smile, his laugh, him in general. I walked towards my tent and started listening to In The End by Linkin Park. I fell asleep smiling an thinking, I do have friends. Carol, Carl, Lori, Dale, T-Dog, Andrea, Amy, Glenn, and now Rick. Rick was the last name I thought of before I fell asleep.
