Finding a new place

I was in the RV when I heard Rick talking to Dale." Dale we have to go!" I heard Rick say. " We cant what about Carol?" Dale argued. "We are leaving tomorrow." Rick said blankly.

I heard Rick climb down the ladder and climbed in the RV." We are leaving tomorrow" Rick said."Ok." I said plainly."What about Sophia?" Carol asked. Rick responded with "Im sorry but we have to go before loose anyone else." An idea popped in my head. "We can leave a note." I smiled "Thats a good idea." Rick complimented. "Its a great idea." Carol laughed for the first time.

I nodded and went to sleep.

I woke up to find Carl's head on my lap. I moved his head and got up noticing we aren't moving." Dale?" "What?" "Why aren't we moving?" I asked."First broke down second ran out of gas." "We have to walk on foot." I stated the obvious. "Yea." Dale said goin' back to sleep.

I put my pink shirt on with ripped pants and combats. I packed my bag with my iPod and things I need. I went to the front to wake up Rick then the rest.

*4 hours later*

We split up. Rick, Carl, Daryl, and I. Then the rest of em together. We were walkin' when we heard a noise and I pulled my bow out and aimed at somethin'. Out came a deer. It was just standin' there. Carl started walk towards it all he had to do was put his hand out to touch em. He put his hand out ready to pet em then there was a shot that rang through out the forest.

Rick and I yelled "Carl!"

Rick and I yelled at the same time. I rushed to catch him before he fell and it worked. I carried him. I was crying and now full of blood. I saw a man come out from the woods. He looked at us petrified."I am so sorry! I didn't see him! I didn't see any of you." He said crying."Do you have a group?" I asked."Yea i'll show you the way." He responded.

We started walking out of the woods and farther we went until we saw a white house. It looked clean and like if nothin' bad had happened. We saw people out on the porch. I was still carryin' Carl and now I was soaked with blood. We walked all the way up to the steps and saw a white headed bearded man and a brown head girl, and a blond headed girl standin' beside each other. (I cant remember if there was any more sisters but I think there is but right now im just gonna make it two)."Hi I'm Hershel." The man said sticking his hand out. Rick shook it and I was still holden on to Carl. "What happened?" He asked."He got shot by somebody." I said looking at the guy."Oh thats Otis." He said lookin' at him. He went in so we followed. "Put him on the bed." I did as I was told and left the room. "Hi I'm Maggie and this is my sister Beth." A girl with brown hair said.I smiled at them."Im Lilly and thats my friend Rick and his son Carl. We have others but they are in the woods." I explained. " I'll take you to look for them on my horse." Maggie said "Sure." I smiled and followed her. I got on another horse and I rode along side her. Before we started goin' I had to do somethin'. I am a huge fan of Doctor Who! "Allons-y!" I yelled and we took off. Maggie gave me a funny look tho. I heard voices as we got farther into the woods and I recognize them. I rode off near the voices and came to a halt and Maggie caught up. "Lori! Come on. Somethin' bad happened. Daryl get your bike. and follow us. Carol go with Daryl. Glenn get on the back with Maggie, Dale get a car down that path and everyone else go with him." I said. "What happened?" Lori asked. I didn't say anything but I left with everyone behind us except for Maggie who is in front of me. We rode all the way back in silents. I brought Lori in once we got off and took her to Carls room. Everyone met each other and talking while I was on the couch being silent.

"Whats up?" Rick asked."Don't you worry about losin' your kid?"

"Yea but I know he'll be ok." Rick said lookin' down."Like you." I commented. "What?" "You were ok when you got shot. You were in a coma and then the biters came and Shane saved you but listen, you are not ok.

"What are you talking about? I am ok. I just found my wife and kids and your saying I'm not ok?!" He argued. "I didn't want to tell you this but. Shane and Lori umm they, they were together before you came back. Shane, Lori, and Carl thought you were dead." I really didn't want to tell him."How do you know they were together?" "Cause I got to that camp before you!

I got to the camp 3 months before you showed up! Rick, I know they were together." I said.

He looked like he was gonna cry. I was already cryin'. I pulled him in to a hug and he cried on my shoulder. I rubbed his back like a mother would do and finally he stopped cryin'.

"Im sorry" He choked out."For what?" "For crying like that." He was sorry because he was cryin'."Don't be sorry for anything like that." I said laughin' a bit. He just nodded his head and I smiled. I looked at my fully charged iPod and saw it was 10:00 pm. I jumped up two more hours and it would be 1 week till my birthday. I did a little dance.Rick started laughing. "1 week till my b- day!" I sang and danced. I grabbed his hand and pulled him of the couch and we were on full silly dancing mode. Then the party crasher ruined it. "Its not time for you two to joke and have fun." Shane said looking disgusted.We laughed and Rick went into Carls room while I laid on the couch. New rule: Enjoy The Little Things.
