It was quiet in the Varia mansion which you find odd. Normally, your long haired boyfriend's voice will be bellowing from a distance because of various reasons. You walked down the empty corridors looking for Squalo's room. You visit every week and you quickly find his room and that is because of his loud bellowing voice. "[Name]-chan." a sweet voice called. You turn a glance for who it was, it was your 'Mama' Lussuria. Dressed in an apron, holding a spatula in his hand.

"Mama Lussuria!" you called, running to him, "What's up?"

"Are you looking for Squalo?" he asked, you nodded. "Squalo's at the beach. He said that he will have a 'holiday' without us getting invited." he said.

"Beach? Holiday? But Mama Lus, its only Thursday. Nothing eventful really." You said, grinning. You paused, "Wait a minute!" you said digging into your pocket, grabbing your phone. The screen flashed and a reminder popped up, 'Squalo's Birthday' it says. You gasped happily, "MAMA LUS!" you shook him, due to your excitement. "Can you make me a cake?" you asked,

"Why [Name], my darling?" he asked,

"Can you just make me one, please?" you asked,

"Oh sure, [Name]-chan." he said, smiling back at you.

"Thanks, Mama Lus!" You said, hugging him, "I'll be back with Squalo in the afternoon." you said, waving at him as you leave. "See you later, Mama Lussuria!"

"See you, [Name]-chan!" Lussuria said, waving back at you. He smiled and went back to the kitchen.

You've reached the beach side, Squalo was at the seashore with his box weapon, Alo. You sneaked behind Squalo and covered his eyes, "VOOOOII!!!" he yelped, "Get the heck off me!!" he yelled at you. Luckily you had a strong grip covering his eyes and with that he had no escape, "Let go of me!!" he murmured, struggling in his worth.

"Guess who." you said and kissed his cheek lightly.

Squalo paused, confused and curious, "[Name]?" he asked. You released your hands from his eyes, "Yep!" you said, smiling sweetly at him. You hugged him from behind.

"Don't do that!" Squalo warned, "You're quite lucky I haven't stabbed you yet." he added holding your arms wrapping around his waist.

"I know you won't do that to your girlfriend, right?" you said looking up to him.

"I won't." Squalo replied, smiling back at you, "I love you, [Name]." he said.

"Happy birthday, Superbi Squalo." you replied, ruffling his white locks. His eyes widened, he glanced at you still smiling. He was lucky to have a girlfriend like you. "What are you doing here in the beach anyways?" you quickly released Squalo from your arms for him to face you. Alo returned to his box.

"Well, I was brushing Alo's teeth." he said. You giggled, you could not help yourself laugh about it. It was cute but you didn't want to show him that you were laughing. Squalo suddenly shot a glared at you, "Yeah, you can laugh about it if you want." he said.

"No. I'm not laughing, Squ." you said, cupping his face. "I love you, Squalo." you tip toed ans kissed his forehead. "Let's go back to the mansion, I've got something for you." you smiled.

Squalo gave you a light smile, "You make me fall inlove with you even more." he said, hugging you. He placed an arm over your shoulder.

When you and Squalo reach the mansion, you and Squalo smelt something burning. Squalo sniffed, "What the heck was that awful smell?!" Squalo growled.

"It's in the kitchen, no doubt." you said. Sighing in disappointment.

"What's wrong?" Squalo asked, looking at your sad face. He frowned, he never did not want to see his girlfriend becoming upset.

"I asked Mama Lussuria to make a cake for you," you said, "but I guess my surprise was ruined. I'm sorry, Squ."

Squalo slightly smiled and hugged you, "Shh, its okay." he said, "You're the best birthday gift I have ever received." he said, kissing your forehead, "Thank you, [Name]." he said.

Lussuria came out of the kitchen, a thick smoke came out from the room, Lussuria did burn the cake he made, "Ah, [Name]-chan, Squalo you're back!" Lussuria said, coughing between those words. "How was your date?"

"Hmm, it was quite good." you grinned cheekly. "You kind if burned the cake, did you Mama Luss?"

"Oh yes, about that." Lussuria said, glancing at the kitchen, "I'm sorry, [Name]-chan. Who's that for anyway?"

"For me." Squalo said, "Voiii!! You piece of trash, you disappointed my girlfriend!!" he yelled.

"Ah! Ah!" you scolded Squalo, "It's not nice for the birthday boy to get frustrated." you said, slapping Squalo's face lightly yet you kissed his cheek again.

"Is it Squalo's Birthday?" Lussuria asked, "There will be fireworks later, you can just spend some time with a dinner date if you want to." He suggested.

"Sounds great." You smiled at Squalo and ruffled his white locks. Squalo agreed to his suggestion for once. Lussuria - however, promised to replace the burnt cake into something else. So instead of just a cake, he made you and Squalo a special dinner date. That is the most memorable date you and Squalo had.
