Chapter 18

I darted towards it not doubting myself for a minute.

Azure came up behind it and held it still so it couldn't escape.

"Will you do the honours?" He asked

"Gladly." I touched the crystal and soon it disappeared and reset all the chaos it created. Well more of the chaos was created by Azure's tornado.

We jumped onto a roof before the news came. All the publicity is starting to get annoying.

"You look tired" Azure said reminding me that it's night.

"Sleep is for the weak." I said

We both bursted out in laughter.

The moonlight made his hair lighter. It made me imagine what he looks like under the mask or who he really is.

"Something wrong? You've been staring at my face for the last minute." He said snapping me out of my daydream.

"Just wondering what you look like under the mask or who you are."

"You were there one who said we weren't allowed to know who we really are."

"Can't stop you from wondering."

"Curiosity killed the cat." What is with this guy and referring me to a cat? "Plus you can't find out who I am, or you wouldn't be able to resist me!"

"Tch"

"Anyway, gotta go."

"See ya."

And with that we parted ways. I found an alleyway to transform.

"Cerridwen! Where were you?" Petra said

I looked over to see Petra, Mi Mi and Haidie.

"Where's Fir and Silver?" I asked

"They went to go look for you." Haidie said shocked they weren't not with me.

As if on cue, Fir and Silver came up from behind us. I turned to see Silver looking relieved but Fir was actually crying.

"Where were you!" He shouted. This actually made me jump. He's never been this mad at me before.

"I was caught up in a tornado actually. I know it sounds crazy. I actually saw Magenta and Azure there for a second."

"And you didn't think to call for help?!"

"I knew that eventually everything would reset in the end."

He suddenly hugged me. I could barely breathe.

"Ca-can't breathe."

"Fir you can let go of her now." Petra said from behind.

"You do know I actually fell down Fir. Maybe I might need a hug too?" Mi Mi asked then held out her hands.

Fir didn't answer.

"C'mon lets go back to mine. I'm kinda tired." Petra said.

We made it back to her house. Fir didn't let go of me the whole time. Why id he so annoying? Half of the time he was laughing as well.

We got into our sleeping bags. It took forever for everyone to fall asleep. Fir fell asleep first, then Petra, Haidie, Silver and finally Mi Mi. She was on her phone for like an hour!

I crept upstairs to Ji.

"Took you long enough. How was the sleepover?"

"It was....interesting."

"I just binge watched Death Note."

"What's with you watching anime 24/7?"

"Did you seriously just ask me this?" She gave me a warning look.

"Never mind. Hey, I was kind of wondering..."

"Yeah?"

"Who do you think Azure is?

"What do you mean?"

"Like, what's his secret identity?"

"I actually don't know. Normally straight away I would be able to guess who the Azure holder is."

"Azure holder?" What's that?

"Oh yeah, forgot to tell you. Well, there were other holders before you." Why is she always leaving out key information?"

"What happened to them?"

She looked like she was about to cry.

"They were corrupted."

"I'm so sorry."

"It's ok." She paused.

"What is it."

"Someone's coming." She hid behind a plant.

Haidie opened the door with a crowbar in her hand. Where did she even get that?

"Oh, it's just you." She said relieved. "What you doing up here?"

"Looking for my phone"

"It's down in the pillow fort."

U followed her down and went to sleep.
