Chapter 36

The ground started to shake. The holder is back.

This time I wasn't surprised or scared instead, I was ready.

I ran to the toilets and changed.

To my surprise, Azure's ribbon was gone and so was my wound.

I ran out the building to see the holder on top of it.

"Hi Magenta." Azure called from behind me.

I didn't bother to say hi. Straight away, I ran up the wall of the building stepping on the roof.

Azure tried to do the same thing but instead fell realising he doesn't have the power to control the wall.

He jumped up next to me.

Suddenly our feet sank into the ground. It was like glue. It doesn't matter how much I tried, I couldn't escape.

We could see Silver away in the distance getting slowly closer and closer to us and then in a blink of an eye, right in front of me.

We were so close that our noses almost touched. I felt like my heart jumped out of my body.

"Are you afraid of me?" He said gently.

"I will never fear you." I stated. In all honesty Silver seems like a nice guy and I might not understand his past and how I 'knew him', but I try my best to however, sometimes he scares the hell out of me.

Satan would be afraid of him. Scratch that, Ari would be afraid of him.

So yeah, i just lied straight to his face. It doesn't feel good at all. After all, he did open up to me about everything...

"Why do you lie to me?" How did he know? "I know you're scared of me because I'm scared of me... Don't lie to me or I might lie to you and you won't like that. But then you will know how I feel, being lied to, about everything."

"Everything?"

"That was a lie," Silver said quietly. "Lies hurt, don't they? But not as much as the truth..."

Silver looked over to Azure who has for some reason been quiet all of this time...

Silver's hand glowed and Azure's forehead went static, like an old tv.

Soon a voice started to say something. It sounded like half Silver and half Azure.

"Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
I said I loved you.
But what did you do?
You broke my heart.
Ripped it out of my chest.
I thought you were different.
But you're just like the rest.
Every now and then I hear our song play.
But it just seems like we're drifting away.
But what happens now?
What do I do?
Are roses still red?
Are violets still blue?
You meant the world to me.
But you didn't care.
You left me crying.
You left me in despair.
Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
But nothing's changed.
Cause I still love you."

"That's what he was thinking, the truth." Silver whispered.

"Azure?" I asked.

He just nodded his head.

"I am so sorry. I really didn't mean to yell. Something terrible just happened but you didn't know. It was all my fault. I am such an idiot."
