'Sounds like she likes her new school.' I said. 'It also sounds like she really likes this boy' Maria said. 'Yes, it does doesn't it. She should be allowed to fancy this boy shouldn't she?' I said shyly. 'I believe she should' Maria said. I came behind her and hugged her from behind. She sighed what sounded like a happy sigh and as quickly as that romantic moment started it ended. 'OW!' Maria exclaimed she said as she collapsed and fell to the ground in pain. 'What's wrong? Are you alright?' I asked in a panic. 'The baby, somethings wrong'

Maria and I had gone to the doctors 3 weeks ago to check on the baby and found out it was all ok and that her prediction of having more than one baby was accurate. The doctor was not sure but he said that she was definately carrying more that 2 children around inside her. We had announced Maria's pregnency at the work party two weeks ago and everyone was thrilled for the both if us. We had sent a letter back to Hope giving her all the best advice we could think of and informing her of Maria's pregnancy. Yesterday we received yet another letter from none other than Hope. She said that the boy she was talking about was Robert and that her friends Sara and Lana had helped her to tell him her feelings, that very same day Robert told her that he fancied her as well and they started a relationship. Apparently the relationship had already lasted two weeks when they had their first kiss. The last paragraph in the letter was what comforted me the most though as it said 'When my family was taken away I was scared I would be the same depressed, shy little girl for the rest of my life, but after staying with you and Maria, meeting new friends and having this new relationship with Robert I have been the happiest that I have ever been and I thank you both for that.' After reading that last sentence I did not know what to do with myself. I felt like I could fly over the tallest mountain, it was like I wanted to go to the highest place on Earth and shout out in a fit of joy. I now realised that Maria, Alexa and Hope were the most important people to me and I was determined to protect them for the rest of my life.
The wonderful day came when Hope was coming home. Maria and I were very excited and even though they did not know it yet but I was going to take them on a holiday. We were at the train station for an hour Maria and I until finally Hope's ancient train screeched to a stop in front of us. The driver of this ancient train blew the whistle and we watched as children from the train ran outside to their families until we finally saw Hope, she was saying goodbye to her friends and holding what must be Robert. He kissed her on the cheek and gave her a hug before leaving to find his family. She walked away from her friends after bidding them farewell and started to walk towards us. She was blushing and as soon as she saw us she ran towards us, when she reached us she hugged us like she had not seen us for years. She had been at school for 3 months and she had been staying with me for 6 months. 'I missed you both so much' she said with tears of joy streaming down her face like rain on a window on a summers night. 'We missed you to Hope' Maria said. 'I am so happy for you two! A little bundle if joy coming your way, how exciting!' She exclaimed 'Thank you Hope. Was that Robert with you just before? It looks like he really does fancy you' Maria said with a smile. 'Yes. He is amazingly kind and so sweet.' Hope said looking sheepishly at her hands as she wrung them shyly. 'He even has his own name for me' she said as her face turned as red as the ripest strawberries in my field. 'Well we are very happy for you' I said with a smile as I put my arm around Maria. 'Lets get you home' Maria said.
