All I could hear around me was the chatter of all the people within the courtroom talking about me and making assumptions about me.
' I bet ya she was sent here to kill us all '
' Demon! '
' Why can't they get it over and done with and kill her already '
' She's a threat to the walls! '
" Quite! " A stern voice echoed throughout the room immediately quietening everybody and they all turned their heads to the top of the courtroom including me. There was grey haired man with an also grey beard a hammer in hand taking a quick glance around the room before settling the hammer down and folding his hands.
" Alright everybody we have gathered here today to trial a girl that was captured during an expedition by the Survey Corps to determine wether or not she is a threat to humanity and if so it will be resulted in an execution " He clarified he looked down at me looking me up and down examining me then turning to Erwin. Erwin nodded and spoke.
" All of that is true. The first person to spot the girl was Captain Levi he says she was holding one of our soldiers in the air " He stated giving me a glance out of the corner of his eye. The room was once again engulfed in chattering until the hammer was banged with a followed "Silence" by the bearded man.
" And who was the soldier? " He questioned.
" It was Armin Arlert sir from the special operations squad " He put his hand on Armins shoulder who was standing to the left of him as a witness. Armin saluted gulping and looking at the ground but standing straight.
" So Mr Arlert can you tell me what happened " It was more of a demand than question.
" A-ah yes sir! I was fighting a 12 meter class Titan when it grabbed me and was about to e-eat me but she saved me " He stuttered out looking like he was about to cry. People gasped sharing glances and whispers.
" Hmmm I see " He muttered rub his chin and leaning back in his chair his scrutinising gaze on me.
" Now miss..." He trailed of looking for an answer.
" Dakota...Kearney" I muttered unwilling lowering my head away from all the judging stares.
" Alright Miss Kearney my names Darius Zackly and I'm the Commander in chief of all three divisions of the military. I'm giving you the chance to defend yourself here, make good use of it " He spoke sternly giving me a light glare behind his glasses.
" Look, if I wanted to kill any of you I would have then and there I have enough power and strength to do so, but I didn't instead I saved a soldier from the hands of a Titan and in return I get chained in a cell like a god damn animal! " I raised my head enough to glare at him rattling the chains a bit out of the corner I could see a soldier from the right side point a gun at me.
" Miss Kearney I'm afraid that's still not enough to prove you have no bad intentions for the people within these walls " He stated pushing his glasses up signalling for the soldier to lower the gun.
" Well then how! I don't want to kill you! What would I get out of it? I just want to be let go! " I snapped jerking forward pulling hard against the chains.
" Miss Kearney please calm do- "
"NO!NO I WON'T CALM FUCKING DOWN!LET.ME.GO! " The sound of a gunshot was heard and a thud as my body hit the ground. Blood was spilling from my torso staining the stone ground turning it a horrible brown colour. Everyone in the room was dead silent staring at my body in shock including Erwin even Darius seemed a bit shocked.
' I only wanted to be there friends'
' I don't to hurt them '
' please don't make me do this '
' Why?! Why me...'
' Help me!Please! '
' PLEASE '
' PLEASE '
Everyone stared in shock as black smoke seeped out of my wound and crackling rung throughout the courtroom sounding like crackling wood as my vains pulsed fire.
And slowly my body rose

I picked Dakota because atm I'm obsessed with this name and Kearney is an Irish name for warrior <3 p.s yes I did get the black smoke idea from ajin it's so cool!
