Chapter 5

I continuously stared at the mirror. The picture was still moving. Niall stood there looking at where I had disappeared. He was crying. All I wanted to do at that very moment was to go back through the mirror and hug him, to hold him tight and tell him I'll never leave him. That I would always be there. That I would always be his. To make him laugh and smile. To play like little kids. But I couldn't. I stood there unmoving. Emotionless. Then I broke. I broke down crying and fell to the floor on my knees. Seeing him so vulnerable was killing me and I couldn't take it.

A bright light shown through the darkness. I opened my eyes to be blinded by this bright white light. I shielded my eyes with my hand an opened them again. I was still slightly blinded but I kept my eyes open. I stood up. I walked over to the light. I was engulfed in bright white light.

*beep* *beep*

What's that noise? Where's the beeping coming from? There it is again. What is that? Make it stop. That's really annoying.

"Wake up. Please wake up. I can't live without you." A male said. Who is that? Is he talking to me? "Please." I know that voice! Is that Niall? I felt someone squeeze my hand. Come on wake up. You need to wake and see him.

*Blink*

Again!

*Stir*

I felt another squeeze on my hand. Come on you have to wake up. For Niall.

*Blink*

Where's that bright light coming from? I fluttered my eyes open then shut them again really fast. I opened my eyes again and began to readjust to the light. Niall sat right beside me holding my hand. A small smile formed on my lips. Tears brimmed my eyes and were starting to fall. I slipped my hand out of his and moved over on the bed. I patted the spot next to me and he got up and sat down. He leaned back and I laid my head on his chest. He started stroking my hair soothingly. I missed him.

(Niall's POV)

She woke up! Now she was laying in my arms like I pictured. I wonder if she knew she was a wolf? So many things were going through my head right now. Did she know? How was I so lucky? Who chose my mate? I really want to thank the gods for giving me an amazingly beautiful mate. Is she ok? How long would she be in this stupid hospital?As if on cue the doctor walked in.

"You're awake." No shit Sherlock! She nodded. "I need to run a few tests and check your vitals and then you'll be free to go." She nodded. She laid her head back on my chest and placed her arm on my stomach. She looked up at me with those beautiful brown eyes. They sparkled just like she did.

"Niall how did I get in the hospital?"

She asked.

"You fainted and hit your head pretty hard on the concrete sidewalk." She nodded. She sighed and stared off into space.

Hey guys sorry it's short. I've been pretty busy with things going on in my life like getting ready for a funeral and hanging out with friends. I wanna say sorry for it being so short because I've been having writers block for the past week and nothing is coming to me but bare with me.

Please pray for my grandfather because he passed away last Wednesday and everyone at my house are not the same.
