Chapter 9

I was on the ground writhing in pain. Niall was staring intently at me. I felt my bones breaking and my muscles stretching. Every fiber of my being was in excruciating pain. I screamed and cried. Tons of hair was growing on my body. I closed my eyes and a I woke up there was no more pain. I looked around. Niall was in his human form, but everyone else was a wolf. I glanced down at my body and saw four white paws, and a bright red body.

"Niall what's happening?" I tried speaking but nothing came out. "What's happening?" I tried again. A small whine escaped my lips. "What the fuck is happening!" I tried screaming this time. A large growl rumble through my throat before I barked. I continued to growl after I finished barking. My breaths were sharp and heavy. Niall looked at me shocked. I was still growling.

Niall changed into a wolf right before my eyes. '

Breath.'

If only it was that easy. Wait! Where did that come from? I whipped my head around to look for the person the voice belonged to.

'That was me. Christina you need to calm down and look at me.'

Niall? I tilted my head to the side, confused.

'How can I hear you if you're not speaking? What's happening? Why am I a wolf? Where did the pain come from? How did I get like this? Can I change back to a human or am I stuck like this forever?' My head was spinning. I need to sit down. I walked over to a tree and plopped down.

'Christina?' My head shot up.

'I want you to listen carefully.' He paused. 'Ok. You can hear me through our mind link'

'Whats a mind link?'

'Its were two werewolves can communicate without talking, kinda like telecommunication.'

'Like the superpower?'

'Yes'

'Cool! I have a superpower!' My wolf howled at my excitement. I walked over to Niall's wolf and nudged his head with my nose. Niall tilted his wolf head upwards and I nuzzled my snout into his warm body.
