Chapter 5: A Dance to Remember

  "How could you do this to me, love" Luna asked as her husband was getting ready for the big dance.
"Because we've been very clingy lately. But don't worry. You, Lori, Leni and Luan will still be by my side during the dance. I just wanted Mika to go with us" BJ answered.
"That makes sense but you do realize Lori has Bobby, right" Luna replied.
"Yeah. I know. So I guess it's just you, me, Mika, Leni and Luan" BJ said as he tied his tie.
"Yeah...... Tonight should be fun" Luna said as they walked downstairs only to find Rita with a camera.
"Really mom? This again" Luna asked.
"You should know the drill by now, kids" Rita answered.
"She's right, love" BJ said as they posed for their photo.
After she took it, Mika arrived.
"Hey guys. I finally got my learner's permit" she said as she walked in.
"That's great" BJ replied.
"Yep. Come here you" Mika said as she dragged him into Smooch City.
"Hey! He's married to me" Luna said as Mika stopped kissing BJ.
"True but you're not the only one who can smooch him" she replied.
"Ya got me there" Luna said as they waited for Leni and Luan.
"We are gonna look like amazing" she said as they got ready.
"Yep. It should be a pun-derful time. Hahahaha. Get it" she asked.
"Not really" Leni answered.
Once they went downstairs, they saw BJ, Luna and Mika waiting for them.
"Finally" he said as he grabbed the keys to the Carwing.
"Hey don't blame me. I just wanted to look good" Leni replied.
"Okay. Let's just go and have fun. Wait. Where's Lori" BJ asked.
"Bobby picked her up a half hour ago" Luan answered.
"That explains it" Luna replied.
Once they were all piled into the Carwing, it was about twenty minutes before they finally made it to the school.
"I know it's only a twenty minute drive, but it feels longer than that" Mika said as they got out.
"Yeah. I hear ya, Mika" Luna replied.
Upon going up to the door, BJ held it open for them.
"After you, ladies" he said.
"Thank you" they said at the same time.
After they got some punch, they hit the dance floor just in time for the DJ's grand entrance.
"Ladies and gentlemen. Give it up for your DJ for the night, Funkmaster Ash" the announcer said as Ashley came on the stage.
"WHAAAT?!?!? I didn't know she was a DJ" BJ said as he noticed her.
"How ya doin' tonight party peeps" she asked.
The crowd cheered like crazy.
"Alright alright. Let's lay down some beats to kick this off and kick it off right" Ashley said as put on a rockin' song.
As they danced, BJ and Luna were really enjoying themselves.
"I'm really having fun" she said.
"Yeah. I just wish Luxie was here. She has the stomach flu" BJ replied.
"Let's hope she gets better" Leni said as she stole him from Luna.
"Uhhhh.... Leni" Luna said.
"Yeah Luna" she asked.
"Nevermind. I guess he's our date" Luna answered.
After some fast songs, Ashley put on a slow song.
"Now to slow things down a bit. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go dance with the Star Loud captain" she said as she put on "It's All About Us" by He Is We.
"What didn't you tell me you were a......" before BJ could finish his sentence, Ashley put on finger over his mouth.
"Shhhhhh..... Not another word. Tonight, it's about us" she said as BJ started blushing red.
"Looks like he's having a good time" Luan said.
"Yep. Ashley sure loves BJ" Luna replied.
After the dance was over, they dropped off Mika before returning to the Loud House.
"Thanks for the ride" she said as BJ kissed her cheek.
"Anytime" he said.
Once they got back, they were tired.
"Ya know that was fun but let's just prepare for tomorrow. I mean it's almost midnight" Luna said.
"Good idea" Luan replied.
