I was kidnapped, taken hostage, and for what exactly? I don't really know...but I had a feeling I'd find out very soon. Two big burly guys stood on either side of me by the front door, making sure I couldn't make my great escape.
"To what do I owe this pleasure, Michael?" I recognized the voice almost immediately. Its Gregory St. Philips
"Well I don't know, ask the men who threw me in a van, at my house no less." His chuckle sent a deep vibration through my spine, and I let out a shiver. When he didn't speak again, I let out a frustrated sigh, "What do you want Gregory? I paid you your money now let me go."
"Oh not so fast Mikey, I think I have something or should I say someone who would be quite important to you...or am I wrong?' His words sent ice through my blood streams.
"W-what is it? Who do you have?" I asked, and I already knew the answer, I could smell her, smell her blood. Yvette was dragged out of the shadows into the one spotlight in the entire theater. She was scared, tears were streaking down her eyes, making her eyes red and puffy, yet she was still the most beautiful person I have ever laid eyes on.
"Yvette!" I yelled and tried to run to her, but the men on either side of me grabbed onto my arms. I was shaken with anger, and it only intensified when I saw her hand resting on her stomach.
"I promise I will get you out of here Yvette, I promise!"
"Well that's a little bit too much of a promise isn't that Michael?" Gregory crouched behind my wifi who was laying across the floor. He pushed her hair to the side to expose her neck, and his eyes turned red, as his fangs came out. "Her blood was--mmm, it tasted exquisite."
"Vampire!" I shouted, "nothing but a filthy rotten vampire."
" Mikey don't be so hard on our kind, we just...can't help ourselves sometimes."
I was so shaken with rage I didn't even notice when my eyes began to turn very red. I heard Yvette gasp, but I ignored it, focusing on Gregory. "Let her go."
'Well see here's the thing. Someone wants you dead." He paused as I tried to lunge at him but his two guys held me back, and he walked closer to me. "So I figured it this way. Only one of you gets to walk out of here, alive." I growled at him, but he continued, "And i'd hate to see something happen to Yvette and her," --He paused as he looked over his shoulder at her-- "Unborn child."
And that's was what threw me over the deep end, I pushed the two guys off of me and jumped on him, sending a punch to his nose, but being a older vamp, he was stronger than me. He pushed me off into the auditorium, and I crashed into the seats. The impact only made me dizzy for a few second before I could focus on what he was doing. He grabbed a loose floorboard and ripped it in half, but he was distracted enough, that I was able to yell out to Yvette. "Run!" I got up from the seats and ripped off a handle of one of the seats that I crashed into and we both lunged at each other, except, I'm the only who didn't win and all I could think about as I died slowly, was that I was so lucky to see my love one last time.
