"Scarlett, where are you going?" I ask, glancing at the clock on the bedside table. Two-fifty three, in the morning.

"Food, I'm starving and I'm not denying myself food, no matter what the time." She pulls on her robe, covering up her bare body.

"Are you not going to wait for me? Just going to abandon me here?" I push the covers off of my torso and stand, glancing at her.

She laughs, running to the door, "Last one to the kitchen makes the food."

"You do realize that two of my steps are the equivalent to four of yours, right?" I call after her, quickly following behind her.

"I also have two extra sets of legs, and a head start." She calls back.

"I don't think that the extra legs will help you in this case," I say, catching up to her. "And so much for your headstart." I pick her up, throwing her over my shoulder.

"Christopher!" She laughs, smacking my back, "Put me down, you're cheating."

"Scarlett, you and I both know that I would've made it to the kitchen first anyways. My legs are longer than your little tiny ones and my steps are much larger than yours. I was able to catch you within three seconds of you stepping out of the door," I laugh as she pinches my butt. "And stop pinching my ass, you weirdo."

"At least let me pretend I have a chance, and your butt is rather fun to pinch."

I shake my head as I return her pinch to the ass. "Not so fun now, is it?"

"Touche."

I set her down as I walk into the kitchen, "what are you going to make anyways?"

"I'm rather unsure, but-do we have brownies? And maybe some cherries, or whipped cream?"

"Cherries and whipped cream would be in the refrigerator...brownies, I'm not too sure about. Premade, I know we don't have, Ghost ate all of those. The mix for it, I'm sure I can find somewhere in the cupboards." I say, looking down at Scarlett. "Would you like me to see if I can find the mix?"

"I didn't wake you in the middle of the night for nothing, so yes. I'll help you find it, I know I

saw some earlier when I was looking for honey."

"Why were you looking for yourself?" I smile. "Wow, okay that was bad. I'm sorry I even said that aloud. You know, honey...you...I'll stop talking." I turned back around, opening the cabinet.

"You should perhaps rethink telling your puns at such an early hour, but nice try." She laughs under her breath.

"I shouldn't even be awake at this hour, I don't know why I even have enough energy to think of such a terrible pun." I shut the cabinet, and open the one beside it. "Found it." I grab the mix and set it on the counter, closing the cabinet as I turn back to her.

"Thank you for finding the evil box, he seemed to enjoy hiding." She picks up the box and opens it, ready to make the brownies.

"What names do you have in mind for boys?" I ask, glancing up at him.

"I'd say I haven't put much thought into it, but we all know that's a lie. I like the names Mason, or Alexander for a boy." He smiles at me.

"They're both lovely, what about girls?"

"I never really put much thought into the girl's name. I've always believed that the mother should chose her little girl's name. Have any crossed your mind that you like?"
