It's a new day and i'm still sick. Great. Maybe mom will actually go to work today.

Mom:"Avalon. I'm going to work!" My mom yells from downstairs

Avalon:"Ok!" I fist pump so much in my bed.

I wait for the front door to close and I go downstairs. I decide on making some eggs and bacon since i'm sick why not make comfort food.

I take the plate of eggs on the couch and turn on the tv and watch some Greys Anatomy.

I didn't even realized i finished my food when i looked down at my plate.

I put my plate in the sink and go upstairs to get dressed. A maroon sweater , black leggings , and my black vans.

Dad:"Avalon!" My dad yells from my parents bedroom

Shit. I thought i was alone.

Avalon:"Yeah dad?" I say walking into the bedroom

Dad:"Give me the remote" I nod and walk over to the nightstand and hand him the remote.

Before i could snatch my hand away he grabs it rolling up my sleeve and kissing it. He pulls my arm down forcing my body closer and leaving kisses on my neck. I struggle to remove myself from his grip but he was to strong. I was pulled on top of him and now he's kissing my chest making his way down to my breasts. I pull away harder this time before things got even worse. I grab my phone and keys and run out of the house.

Dad:"AVALON! COME BACK BABY!" I hear my dad yell from the window

I look up and ignore him and keep running. Not looking back. That's it i'm free. I'm free from them. From everything. From the abuse. Sexual Harassment. Threats. I'm free. And i'm not going back

I run to Ethans house and just sit on the grass in front of their house.

Me: Ethan are you home?

Ethan: yea why?

Me: can i come in?

Ethan: yea sure. What happened ?

I get up off the floor and check to see if the door is unlocked. It is. Yes!

Avalon:"Ethan!" I yell into the empty house.

Ethan:"Up here Avalon!" I see the stairs and find my way into Ethan's room.
He is sitting on his bed in only some plaid pajama pants.

I try not to stare at his perfectly toned abs and perfectly quaffed morning hair. Damn he is perfect.

Ethan:"Av what happened?" I hear Ethan say turning his Xbox off.

Then i realized what happened a few minutes before. My dad almost raped me.

Avalon:"Oh um. I needed to get away from home for a little while" I say trying not to cry

Ethan:"Avalon. Your not okay." I'm guessing he saw my tears before i could blink them away.

Avalon:"My uh my d-ad was uh k-issing me in th-he wrong w-way" I say crying in his arms at this point.

Ethan:"Av. Call the police" he says stroking my hair

Avalon:"If i do my mom will abuse me again" I say sniffling

Ethan:"Avalon. Your staying at my house. Your not going home to them"

Avalon:"I have to" I say looking up at him

Ethan:"They hurt you. There is absolutely no way you can go back there." Ethan says wiping away my tears.

Avalon:"But your parents and siblings" I say looking back down at the floor

Ethan:"My parents won't mind and my siblings is a story for another time." Ethan says standing up laying me on his bed

He leaves the room and comes back with some blankets and pillows.

Ethan"Stay here. I'm going to make up the guest bed" He says peeping his head through the door
