I turn the next corridor more alert this time, aware and away from the purple quartz and lapis walls. Decorated with gold flowers, they glisten as the light moves throughout the day. If I remember correctly, they were from Kristllers book the Tale of Two Witches. A best seller among the Readers. "Alra, despite being gold, they're alive correct?" She lifts up a skinny white finger to the flowers, "Yes, they are alive. In the Tale of Two Witches, they can be found in White Forest. They are apparently an exquisite trade item, selling for a high price. After the Tale of Two Witches finished, some characters were able to obtain Lavenders from the Author or other officials to come and sell their goods." Hmm, so a flower can be that amazing? I look at my storage bracelet and swipe through the icons to find my Rose. The smell of roses wafts into the air as soon as I pulled it out, though slightly salty. The card was thin and deep crimson, if you tipped it a certain way you could see little petals in it, frozen, to fall forever. A gold strip sways through the card, like a river. It contains all of my information, though, all may be an exaggeration. Everything that's obvious and in the light.
I almost want to laugh at the thought of information they managed to scrape up. I let it disappear back into my storage bracelet and ignore it. "Wish they made the new meeting room a bit closer to the other ones." I mumble, pushing the doors open. "If I may, I think instead your wish is that you don't want the meeting rooms to keep blowing up." We walk in and are met with the smell of smoke and fire. I sigh so loud it may as well be an angry grumble. "Charr, Michael, can you stop with the fireworks? Do we have to get ANOTHER new meeting room? If what I was told was correct, they just finished this yesterday. The builders are going to tear your eyeballs out." I snap my fingers and speed walk deeper into the room. Alra works quickly and accurately, used to the routine with ease. Her palm glows yellow and blue as she summons her two elements. Wind and water soon chase the smoke away and dampens the fire. I come back to her with two wiggling masses we call the Disaster Twins. I slam their heads into the ground and they whimper slightly.
I pat my hands together, cracking them as an attempt to cool my annoyance. They flip over quickly and bowed like they were going to get mercy. "To be honest, Charles did it, he started chasing me around the room and made me start shooting at him. He wouldn't stop until I did." I stare at Michael who adjusts his broken glasses. They always break with how rough they always play. I hold up a hand. "I don't care who started it, how about you just clean this mess up before the others arrive?" They scramble upward, and work with speed. Michael uses his control over hot air mostly to clean up the mess since Charr can't really do anything else besides pick the tipped chairs off the floor. Alra goes to help them, her Elementals at her side. I put up a hand, but she ignores it and keeps going. A swarm of gold and blue swivel around the room, almost making it seem like the twins weren't doing anything at all compared to Alra. Bursts of Michael's pink-orange are still able to be seen though. I can't deny he is trying to do his part. "It's not really a punishment if they get help doing it." I say to whoever will listen. Her Elementals dance throughout the room until it was cleaner than what the cleaners could have done. 1923 book ended 1925, book: How To Clean Like A Master. Some of the characters who learned how to clean like experts crossed over.
I walk over to the table, now returned to its calm brown. I sit down and slide my finger through the air. A screen blinks open showing the newest things happening throughout the Shelves. A skinny red haired woman appears with a small stack of papers in front of her. She motions toward a smaller image next to her showing a chaotic scene filled with blood and running people. Of course the missing limbs and the people severed in half with whatever remains blurred, left for people to imagine what power could possibly cause the torture. "Currently in Myuta Town, a group of Zhen Bion terrorists blew up the public square during festivities for First Princess Shaylancia's fifteenth birthday. As of right now absolute casualties are unknown. However, thanks to some bits of photo's and videos captured and sent by the stationed camera crew, we know that at least 18 dead and many more causalities. Omni's have been sent to subjugate the enemy, more on this topic later on. Our next topic is based on..." I bite my lower lip, damn. I didn't expect them to start making a racket so soon.
