Rolling over, I turn off my 6:30 alarm and go back to sleep. I always set two alarms, because this is exactly how I am... Turn off the alarm, then go back to sleep for 15 more minutes until my 6:45 alarm goes off.

Once my final alarm goes off, I go downstairs to see my mom getting ready to leave.

"Bye mama." I say and kiss her cheek before she walks out the door.
I grab a cup from the cabinet and open the fridge to get orange juice, only to get a few drops.

"Why just why?" I ask no one, but pretty ticked off. I slam the juice container down and walk to the pantry to get my cereal.

Every morning I eat cereal, no matter what kind we have. This morning, it's Fruity Pebbles. I pour myself a bowl, get some milk, my Vitamin D pill, and sit down at the island.

Yes, I said Vitamin D. I'm not really an outdoorsy person, so I don't get much, which is why I take my pill. I know, it really honestly sucks.

Walking into school, I look all around the main hallway for Alyssa. Alyssa is basically my best friend, although we've only been friends since the beginning of the year. Yet, it feels like a lifetime of friendship.

I finally spot her at her locker, getting books out and shoving things in.

"Hey." I say as I reach her locker.

"Hey. Oh my gosh I have news for you!" She screams and getting a few head turns. I blush immediately.

"Tone it down would you? But what's the news?" I ask.

"Okay so I was talking to David and suddenly, out of no where, he asks me out! Just out of the blue! And better yet... I said yes!!!" She screams... Again.

I jump and cover my ears. "Geez Lyssa, stop screaming. But wow I'm so happy for you! You actually have a boyfriend!" I say excitedly.

She smiles a big, real smile just as David walks over. They hug, and for the first time I realize how lonely I actually am. I mean, my best friend has a boyfriend now, and I'm stuck in the back of the class, being Lyssa's third wheel now. Wow. This is really sad.

"Okay please do the problem on the board. Show all your work and then read pages 89-92 in your textbooks." Mr. Bostic announces to the class.

I look at the board to see a word problem and you have to detect the type of weather or natural occurance is happening. Easy.

I write down the problem, solve it no problem with my answer being cold front with about a 65% chance of rain. I open my textbook to page 89 and begin reading, but about halfway through feel a tap on my shoulder.

I look to the right, the shoulder that was tapped, to see a random guy standing there. A very tall, random guy.

"Hey sorry to disturb but can you hand me that pencil? It's right under the front left leg of your chair." He nicely asks.

I nod and reach under my chair, feeling around for a pencil. Once I found it, I hand it to the guy and he goes back to his seat. Okay, where was I...

After the bell rings, everybody rushes out of class to lunch. I meet Alyssa at our usual spot, in front of the girls bathroom. Why we meet here? Not sure, but no one else does so... Why not?
