Jacob's POV
Its been a week since Chloe and Adam had their first date. Also a week since I've met Emma... officially. Let me tell you, she's the number one thing on my mind.
The past few days at school, all I've seen is her. I NEVER ran into her or seen her this much in school, but apparently this week its every second. When I went to the bathroom, she was coming out (of the girl's room of course). During passing periods, she was either right in front of me or a few feet away.
Its crazy. I never have people stick in my mind like this. The only people would be family... Not a girl that's the older sister of the guy my little sister is dating. Speaking of those two, they're going great. They talk a lot, which Chloe then tells me the whole conversation. Its kinda cute.
Anyways back to Emma, she's amazing. All I do is stare at her in utter aw, laugh when she says something funny in class, etc. We never tall though, unless we see each other in the hall. I don't have her number, which literally sucks.
I wish I had the balls to just go up to her and talk to her. Of course I don't, because I could be with her right now. Obviously I am kind of obsessed with having her in my arms, but hey, I'm a guy. What guy isn't obsessed with getting a girl.
Except, I was currently helping Chloe clean our house because Adam was coming over. God am I hoping Emma brings him.
"JAY! WHERE'S THE VACCUUM?!" Chloe shouts from upstairs.
"THE GUEST ROOM CLOSET!" I yell back.
She doesn't thank me, which is just her usual self. I keep mopping the kitchen until I hear the doorbell ring. A smile quickly springs onto my face, as I drop the mop onto the floor and run to the door. Maybe a little too fast.
Being the dumbo I am, I realize I just mopped once my chest hits the ground.
"Ow. Crap." I say loudly, with Chloe shouting and loud, harsh knocking on the front door.
I slowly get up happy that I dried up the spot where I fell. I walked, very cautiously, the rest of the way to the door. I opened it, saying hi to Adam who rushes upstairs to Chloe vaccuming. Standing in the door, is the angel herself, Emma.
"Hey Emma. Um," I stumble over my words, not being able to form them. "W-what time do you plan on getting her? I mean him, him as in Adam. Wow am I stupid." I let out a chuckle, only getting a weird look from Emma.
"Are you okay? I know this isn't how you normally act." She looks a little suspicious, which is a cute look that really fits her.
Stop it dude! She's not even yours!
"Yep, totally fine. Except I just fell on the floor because I was mopping then I ran to the door and slipped." I again, laugh, getting a small giggle from her. "Otherwise, I think I'm good." I give her a reassuring smile.
"Well I'm glad you're okay. I was thinking I'd come get him around 9? I'd that okay?" She asks.
I nod. She starts to walk away, but I step outside the door to get her to come back. This is my only chance.
"Emma? Would you like to stay here actually? You know, just while the little ones are hanging." I look down and blush a little.
Before I know it though, she's saying yes and inside my house. Didn't think it'd be that easy.
We go into the kitchen, and she casually sits at the kitchen table, texting someone. Most likely her mom.
"Want anything to drink?" I ask her.
