"What are your plans for today?" Mom asks as she cuts a banana.
"Well, I'm going to school, come home and stay home." I tell her as she stuffs her face with the fruit.
"Aren't your girls coming over?" She asks.
"Unfortunately, no. Delaney is going on a small vacation with her family. Ophelia is busy with her design for a class project." I explain as I bite into a big apple.
"And Vivian? What about her?" She asks, throwing away her banana left over.
"I don't know, I'll ask her later." I said getting my bag.
"Okay, well text me and I'll get some snacks. I have to go grocery shopping anyway." She says looking at her watch on her left wrist.
"I will. Love you." I said as I kissed her cheek and headed for the door.
"Love you too! Remember you have pick Maia up from school and take her to Julian's house, I'm going to be home a bit late, so you have to pick her up as well." She said.
"Can't Justin do it?" I asked, not complaining. I'm just not in the mood to be driving the entire day.
"He's going with Margaret and her family on a reunion type of thing." She said rolling her eyes.
Margaret is Justin's girlfriend of two years, who just uses him for money. A typical gold digger. No one likes her except Justin.
"Okay, I'll do it. See you later!" I waved as I closed the door. I walked to my beautiful Jeep and got in, starting the engine. I got my phone out and put it on Bluetooth, blasting my favorite song.
*play the song up top*
All the houses passing by, all the people walking past. The sun shining brightly at 7am, the wind gently blowing the trees, leaves falling to the ground.
"I definitely need to get coffee." I sighed as I saw a McDonald's to my left. Minutes later I was in the drive through, ordering a large coffee and fries.
"Now I'm falling asleep, and she's calling a cab, while he's having a smoke and she's taking a drag-" the words flew out of my mouth as I drove into the school parking lot.
With only a few months, maybe 3 or 4, of school left, I was eager to do my best and graduate. Don't get me wrong, I liked school. And by 'liked achool' I mean lunch. I hate school. The idea of getting up early, learning and exams make me sick. Look, I'm good at school, I just don't find the motivation to keep going. I guess it's the sound of mom's screaming telling me to go is making me stay.
"Hay girl!" I high voice yelled as I closed my door, almost making me spill my coffee. I turned around and smiled. A blond headed girl with bright green eyes greeted me.
"Hey, Vivian." I smiled, locking my car.
"Have you seen the other girls?" She asked. Rubbing my temples, I braced myself to tell her the again for the 100th time.
"I told you like 100 times, Delaney went with her parents on a vacation yesterday, Ophelia is at home busy with a huge project that's worth half her grade. And we're here." I sighed as she locked arms with me, walking us to the school doors as everyone made their way to their lockers.
"Oh right. I forgot." She giggled.
Now Vivian isn't the smartest girl in the school, but I love her. We laugh at her stupidity. It sounds mean, but even she laughs at herself.
"So, first we have geography.." She trailed off as I got my books out of my locker.
"Vivi, I have geography. You hate geography." I laughed. I love leaving about nature. I love it, it's one of my favourite subjects, the second one is lunch.
