Chapter 3

Lucian's POV

The week went by uneventful. Julian made no moves again besides confirming we would be attending the party. I had told him yeah and that the rest of our group would be joining too. He seemed unfazed and said it wouldn't be a problem. As the week progressed I got more and more excited. So lets skip the boring school parts and the crappy home parts and skip right to Friday after school.

When I arrived home the first thing I did was hurry to the bathroom so I could shower. It was summer so I was always sweaty as heck after school. After getting all my clothes, I opened the bathroom door to find my brother in the shower. He gets home earlier then me on Fridays so I wasn't surprised to find him there. 

I smiled at him when he stared at me taking off my clothes and his cheeks turned bright red. We have showered many times together, but every time we do he would always turn beet red. I stepped into the shower and sighed in relief as the warm water cascaded over my back. Having separate showers meant the other wouldn't have hot water like this, so this was easier and more beneficial. Plus it was a bonding activity as strange as it may sound.

We took turns washing each other, speaking about our days as we did. When the water started to turn luke warm turned it off and dried ourselves. Heading to our separate rooms we got changed. When he was done he came into my room. He had on a 'Pierce The Veil' shirt with Black skinny jeans, his hair was combed to the side but still slightly messy. I on the other hand opted for more colour.

I put on a bright purple crop top with the words "Its okay ladies, I'm gay" on and loose blue jeans that hung low, the crop top allowed for my abs to show while the low hung jeans showed off my V-Line. I was one damn sexy beast! I styled my tangled dirty blond hair until it lay perfect upon my head in a messy yet sexy way. It was gonna be a good Friday because our Aunt was out drinking and wouldn't be home till early hours of tomorrow. Which meant we wouldn't be caught going out and suffer through her shit. What do I mean by all that? Well that's a story for another time. Thinking about it would have just ruined the good mood I was in.

My brother was going to a friends house and they were going to a 'Pierce the Veil' concert. Most people thought he would be too young for it, but the kids gone through hell in life and their music resonates with him. So why not let him live a little? Plus his friends parents would be there to supervise so what's the harm?

I was glad he was going out and wasn't going to be left at home while I went to the party. Truth is I probably wouldn't have gone if it meant leaving him all alone. He smiled at me and wolf whistled and I just nudged him slightly as we head for the car. We drove off and after a few minutes I dropped him off at his friends place, thanking him and his parents for taking my brother with, then made my way to pick up the gang. Thank goodness Carries parents bought me this Van or else we would all have to take separate rides. We were happier being all together and arriving places together rather then having to go through all the trouble of finding each other when we arrived.

Our gang wasn't much. It was me, Carrie, Nolan, Cherry, Bianca, Jarrod, Sergio, Alex and Alexx. You already know Carrie as my best friend since childhood. As I previously mentioned. she has short blonde hair and light green eyes. She was very tom-boyish and never could keep her cool when things pissed her off. Though for her friends, she would crush a mountain.

Next is Nolan. He has white dyed hair and emerald green eyes. He is always very perky and happy. When he is upset, you know something horrible must have happened because the boy genuinely never got upset. Not by bullies or anything else for that matter. And it wasn't put on like mine was, he was just genuinely always bubbly.

Then there's Cherry. She has dark red hair with bright pink highlights and these smooth chocolate brown eyes. She is the Sarcastic Bitch in the group, next to me who clearly had just as much sarcasm as she did. She was also captain of the cheerleading team. We met through our extra murals, mine of course being football and Le Cross. I was captain of the Le Cross and vice captain of the football team.

Next, Bianca. She has light brown hair and blue eyes. She is the one who knows it all. Definitely the most socially clued in out of us all. When you want to find something out, she's the one you go to. She is also someone you DO NOT want to piss off because she probably knows all your secrets. How she finds out all the information from no one knows, but we never question the validity of the things she knows because they are always true.

Off to Jarrod. He has black hair, hazel eyes and the cutest dimples. I find him completely adorable! But not dateable! Kind of like a second little brother? He is the shy and quiet and only ever opened up to me when we were alone. Everyone still loved him and he was part of our little click, but our bond together was stronger then it was with him and the others.

Making our way to the next friend, Sergio. He has dyed bright blue hair with similar green eyes to Nolan. Him and Nolan are step brothers that are a year apart but started school the same time as each other. They may not be blood related, but they could fool everyone with how similar they looked. Sergio's Dad married Nolan's Mom when he was 1. Nolan's dad left when his mom was pregnant with him, but that didn't matter. To them, their parents were their parents. Even though they looked like brothers, Sergio's attitude was the opposite of Nolan's. He is always miserable and angry and resorts to a lot of violence. He was a hit now and think later kinda guy.

Lastly, the twins, Alex and Alexx. Their full names are Alexander and Alexandra. The two x's were for the effect of a girls name when on paper or text, but they both just preferred being called Alex. They both have very dark brown hair and similar facial structures, but Alexander has warm green eyes where as Alexandra has cold blue ones. Other than their eye colour and gender parts, they were identical. In personality, fashion sense and everything else. They also seemed to finish each others sentences a lot of the time and one wouldn't be seen without the other.

The funny thing is, is that they were both gay. Or if you want to get detailed orientated, Alex is gay and Alexx is lesbian. They were not out at school though, because they said they were not ready for it, but their parents still loved them the same.

Our group was a strange combination of people, but we were a family. No matter what we had each others backs.

Anywhore, back to the party! 

I parked the van as we felt the vibrations from the loud music inside. As we all piled out, everyone seemed excited. This was the first high school party we had come to as a group. After going through the plan for if something happened one more time, we headed to the door. What a night this was going to be.

Hey hey! A very short uneventful chapter but i wanted to keep this one to describe all the different characters. Im republishing all 7 chapters already written on this book with its tweaks and fixes then will continue the story. So far no new engagement or any of the old engagements returning, but i really do hope at least one of you reads this book and gives me some feed back. Id like to continue the through to the end before turning to the other books for this story.
