*Soji POV*
I looked straight ahead at the city that was in front of all of us. I was with all the Vigilantes from both Edo and Nagasaki. The last month, we heard about the newest vigilantes group in Kyoto.
Kyoto is a beautiful city with many tourists. As we walked around, we saw many different shops and many different cultures in people. Hotaka suddenly came to stop and stared at a tabloid writer.
"Shiro!" Hotaka called out before going over to him. The pink haired man looked up at the Hotaka, who threw his arms around him.
We all stared at Hotaka as if he was crazy. He is. The man soon wrapped his arms around Hotaka as we walked over to them.
"Hotaka, you're choking me," The man laughed slightly.
Hotaka pulled away. "Sorry, Shiro. Oh!" He turned to all of us. "Guys, these is my older brother, Shiro."
"It's good to see you again, Shiro," Sion said as he looked at the older man.
Shiro smiled at him before looking at the rest of us. "I'm guessing you're them," he said. "I'm a member of the city's group. The leader is at the Washi's house with another member if you want to go ahead and meet her."
"Her?" Kinshiro, the Edo leader, blinked. "The leader's a girl?"
Shiro nodded. "Dirk is a girl, but she dresses and looks like a boy."
"She isn't Japanese, I'm guessing," Makoto, the Nagasaki leader, stated.
"No," Shiro shook his head. "Dirk is half Dutch, half Egyptian." He explained. "She's quite popular with the girls because of her exotic appearance."
*Dirk's POV*
I sighed softly as I put the final touches on the kimono I was working now. Now, I had to wait for tomorrow for Lady Suki to come and try on her wedding kimono. I put it on the model as the door of my work room opened. I look over to see Osaki.
"Brother?" I asked. Osaki was like a brother to me so I called my brother, and I called Mr. Washi father. The brother part was quiet funny when I think about the fact that I have seven brothers already.
"Kinshiro and Makoto from the Edo and Nagasaki Vigilantes are here to meet you. They're in the merchant meeting room," Osaki told me.
I nodded and walked out of my work room, closing the door behind me. Osaki told me that the leaders were going to meet first before all the vigilantes as they clean the bigger room.
I walked down the hall with my footsteps making a soft thud sound. I found the meeting room and walked in, closing the door behind me again. I looked at the two older men.
Kinshiro, the Edo Vigilante leader, had darker skin with green hair that was tied back in a ponytail. He stared straight at me with his green eyes and a small smile. He seemed kinder than the other.
Makoto, the Nagasaki Vigilante leader, had lighter skin with long blue hair with matching eyes. He stared at me as if his lover just broke up with seconds before I walked in... why did he look so pissed?
I was the first to speak up. "Hello," I said. There was a Dutch accent that was mixed in with my Japanese. "You must be Kinshiro and Makoto. I'm Dirk Tuma. Nice to meet you!" I smiled at them.
"Shiro wasn't lying that you look like a boy. How old are you?" Kinshiro asked.
"Oh, you've met Shiro. I'm eighteen," I explained. I was young compared to the other leaders.
"Eighteen? Are you sure that you're old enough to be around all this death?" Makoto stared at me with bored eyes.
"I'm sure," I nodded. "I don't think age matters when it comes to protecting the innocent."
Kinshiro started to laugh. I blinked and looked up at him. He walked over and lightly slapped me on the back. "You have spirit, kid."
I blushed as I stared up at him. "What do you mean? I just speak my mind...I get in trouble for that lot..."
"Is that so? What is something that you got in trouble for?" Kinshiro asked me.
"I said that no lives truly matters," I said, making the both stare at me with wide eyes. "We are all born, and we all die. In the long run, our lives mean nothing. No matter our social status."
"..."
"..."
Both of the other leaders stared at me in silence. I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow. "What?" I asked. "You asked, and I answered. Is that really that shocking?"
"It's not that you answered the question..." Kinshiro said.
"It was the answer. You're a teenager still so it's weird to hear that from someone your age," Makoto finished.
"Tch!" I let out an annoyed sound. "So the truth shocks you. It shouldn't. The truth is the truth, and you can just get over it. That is truly how I feel. I could die now, and in the next day, it wouldn't even matter. I would just be replaced."
*Oishi's POV*
I was cleaning up my house since I had a day off. We were meeting the other vigilantes tonight. The front door opened and closed. I didn't look to see who it was as I felt two arms go around my waist.
"You get to meet my brother now~" Shiro, my loving boyfriend of two years, said as he nuzzled his face in my neck. "My baby brother, Hotaka, is a member of the Edo Vigilantes."
I looked over my shoulder at him. "Is that so?" I asked. "I'm sure that he's a wonderful brother."
Shiro smiled. "He is! I love him! Oh! Of course, I still love you more," he said as he turned me around.
I wrap my arms around his neck. "I love you a lot more than my brother as well."
We both smiled at each other and laughed. Shiro leaned down and softly pecked my lips before pulling away.
"I should go work on my tabloids. Do you want to help me?" Shiro asked. "We still have a few hours before we have to go to the Washi house."
I nodded and said that I would like to help. I held onto his hand as we walked to the back room that was covered in papers and ink.
*Xing's POV*
"Master seems happy today! Don't you agree, Sadow?" I asked the younger man that helps Master as well.
Sadow looked over at me with chop sticks in one hand and a bowl of ramen in the other, as well as ramen noodles in his mouth. I let out a laugh as I sipped on my tea.
Sadow and I work for Master Dirk. Sadow just showed up and started following Master around. I follow Master as a way to say thanks for saving me.
Sadow quickly finished the noodles in his mouth and put the bowl with ramen still in it. He put the chopsticks by the bowl as he wiped his mouth.
"She does seem happy," Sadow said. "She did finish that kimono that's she's been working on for almost a month. Lady Suki is very high up so Dirk probably feels confident about it and can't wait for Lady Suki to try it on, knowing her."
I nodded slightly. "Probably," I said as I drank some more of the tea as Sadow picked his noodles back up and continued to eat.
