Thankfully, after this whole series of events, it was a Sunday morning so neither of them had to get up to go to school, nor did it look exceptionally weird that the Michael had spent the night, since this was an almost weekly occurrence. Jeremy was the first to wake, realizing that Michael had fallen asleep on top of him in his lap, curled up and looking as if he was totally and completely serene. Jeremy smiled at the comfort of knowing that "reind" felt  at peace in his arms. Jeremy decided to put his arms around Michael to hold him tighter. However, since he is such a klutz, Michael slowly began to open his eyes.
"Shit man, I'm sorry-"
"Nah, it's fine~" Michael sang sweetly. "I like seeing your face."
There was a new feeling that surfaced within Jeremy that felt almost a little scared. I mean, he had never been in a real relationship before, and now there was this sudden terror of somehow messing up. He was afraid that he would do what he usually does, and wreck his chance at a perfect life. But he dismissed the thought and it was replaced with a familiar and warm feeling, knowing he must of done something right to be laying here. And with that, he replied;
"I could same the same about you."
The later's cheeks flushed a little.
"You flatter me."
"Well, I guess that's my job now, isn't it?" He replied with a soft tone, leaning down to kiss Michael's forehead. This only caused Micheal to bury his face deeper into Jeremy.
"God, it feels so good to get that out."
Micheal sighed.
"Get out what?" Jeremy questioned, perplexed.
"This." And with that he pressed his lips against Jeremy, and flung his arms around him. Jeremy retaliated by pressing back. The embrace may have lasted minutes, hours, days, however time seemed to escape them in this moment. They only stopped when Jeremy heard footsteps walking down the carpeted stairs. Only then did they scramble to opposite ends of the couch and feverishly grab their phones to pretend to be scrolling through social media.
"Kids these days, always on their phones, never interacting face to face." Jeremy's  mom let out a surrendered sigh. "I came down to check on you two. I heard you come in last night, and figured it must be one of your last minute sleepovers. Do you guys want breakfast?"
"Erm, thanks mom, but I think we're good for now" Jeremy said, trying not to let his nerves show.
"Okay. Just let me know if you two need anything!" She replied, and with that went back upstairs.
The two went back to their previous (and more comfortable) position as soon as they heard the door click.
"So" Michael started "do you suppose we're, like, boyfriends now or what?
"Well I'd certainty like to be" Jeremy replied.
"Works for me, Jer-Bear~" Michael sang out.
And the two spent the rest of the morning holding each other and feeling at home.
