Chapter 6: Lost or Found

  ~Nemesis~

Kora laid limp on the floor after what seemed like crying for years. She heard the door open and looked at the door. She watched as Megatron and Knockout entered that room. Megatron nodded and Knockout took off the chains and picked up Kora. She was to numb to even move. "Not much of a fight." Knockout said. Megatron looked at him, but nodded in agreement. Megatron had taken the right as Knockout took the left when they had left the room they had been in. Knockout entered Med-bay and sure enough, Soundwave was there as well. "Inquire: How long?" Soundwave asked. "Not long." Knockout said. He placed Kora into a container. She still had not fought back or spoken. Soundwave pointed to her. "She didn't give a fight." Knockout told him. Kora was confused, but remember Ratchet telling her Soundwave was the silent one.

Soundwave titled his head. "I thought as well." Knockout replied to an unspoken question. Kora moved her head to see what Knockout was grabbing. The tube of icicle blue liquid. Kora's eyes widen. She tried to get up, but couldn't. She had lost most of her strength crying so hard, and she knew this. "Well, well, well, finally trying to give a fight." Knockout said. Kora looked at him. 'Scrap.' She thought. "How shall we do this?" Knockout asked Soundwave. Soundwave showed Knockout something Kora could not see. "The easy way it is." Knockout said grabbing a smaller tube. He poured the liquid into it. 'Come on Kora. Get up!' Kora yelled in thought. She tried to push herself up but fell back down. Knockout and Soundwave looked at her. 'Kora, get up! You can do this. Do it for Optimus and the others. Do it for Mom!' Kora told herself. She slowly got up, leaning against the container. She looked at Knockout and Soundwave, and angered looked on her face. "Well. Finally." Knockout said smiling. Soundwave nodded. Kora felt like her legs would give out, but she kept standing. When she felt some of her strength coming back, she pushed off the container and stood up on her own.

Soundwave nodded. Knockout put the tube into something and Kora heard something coming towards her. She did a back flip over it and looked up at Knockout and Soundwave. "What!?" Knockout yelled. "You...........you should have known I would have done that." Kora told them, finally talking. The syringe like tentacle moved towards her but she moved out of the way once again. "It won't be easy to get me." Kora told them, her back to them. "Would seem so." Knockout said. Soundwave pointed to the controls. "I know, I know." Knockout said. Kora looked over her shoulder. 'Scrap.' She thought. She looked back the syringe arm. She jumped over it as it crashed into the container, though is didn't break the container or the arm. Knockout pressed a button and sleeping gas began to fill the container. Kora cover her nose and mouth with her hood. "Sleep gas. Really!? I though Cybertronians are suppose to be smarter then us human!" Kora said as the gas disappeared. Knockout and Soundwave where in shock. Kora moved her hood away from her face. "Really?" She asked again jumping over the arm.
Then they heard gun fire. Kora slid under the arm. Soundwave pointed to him then the ground and he went to the door and walked into the hallway. Only to shot. Knockout ran out of the room and got shot unconscious. Optimus and Bumblebee run into the room to see Kora jump over the arm, once again. "Hello Optimus, Bumblebee. How's you day? Hope it was better than mine!" Kora yelled the last part as back fliped over the arm. Optimus ran over to the controls and turned it off. Bumblebee opened the container and took Kora out. Optimus looked at her. "What?" She asked completely confused. He just shook his helm. He placed a digit on his com unit. "Ratchet, open a ground bridge." He said. A ground bridge opened and Megatron ran in. "Optimus." He said. Optimus stood in front of Bumblebee. "Bumblebee, get you and Kora out of here." He ordered. Bumblebee nodded and ran into the bridge. Megatron fired at Optimus, though missed him and the bridge. Optimus fired at him and hit him, knocking him out cold. Optimus ran into the bridge and it closed. He could relaxe a little bit. He walked over to Sick-bay to see Ratchet scanning Kora. "I'm fine!" Kora groaned.

Optimus had a confused look. "Just making sure." Ratchet said, finishing his scans. Kora crossed her arms. "Kora." Optimus said. Kora looked up at him. "Yes." She said. "Are you sure you are fine?" He asked. Kora let out a deep breathe. "Yes." She told him. "Kora!" They heard a voice. Kora looked up to the balcony and saw her mother. She smiled and run up to her and hugged her. "But what are you doing here!?" Kora asked turning to Optimus and the bots. "Megatron did hold to his promise." Ratchet said crossing his arms. Kora looked surprised. "Really?" She asked. Optimus nodded. "Then why didn't you take Mom home before she woke up?" Kora asked forgetting her mother was right next to her. Karine bopped Kora in the back of the head. "OW! What was that for!?" Kora asked grabbing the back of her head. "I'm right here." Karine said. "Sorry." Kora told her. "I'll let it slid." Karine told her. Kora smiled. "And to anser your question, Mrs. Springs had woken up before we could. We had no other choice but to keep her here till you had returned." Optimus told Kora. Kora nodded understanding.

"Well, now I know what your up too." Karine said. Kora froze stiff, turning white. "Mom!" Kora yelled, then turned red. Optimus had a cofused look. "Please don't ask." Kora said. Optimus nodded and walked over to the monitors where Ratchet had gone to. They had began to talk. "Kora, you know I was joking right?" Karine asked. "BUT STILL!" Kora yelled turn as red as Knockout. Karine began laughing. "It's not funny Mom!" Kora said. "Don't make me get Anut June on you!" Kora finished. "Does June know?" Karine asked turning to Jack. "Yeah. She knows." Jack said. Karine nodded. "I should be going home." Karine told her. Kora took her mother over to Optimus and Ratchet. "Optimus?" Kora asked. "Yes." He said. "Can you open a ground bridge for Mom?" Kora asked. Optimus nodded and opened a ground bridge to Karine's new house corridanets. "Thank you." Karine told Optimus. Optimus nodded. Korine walked into the portal. Kora let out a sigh. "Is everything alright?" Ratchet asked. Kora nodded. "Just tried that's all." Kora said. She yarned. "Opps, exsuce me." Kora said with a smile. She walked down the stairs and walked to her room. She had to stay with the bots since they moved her mother to another state. She laided down in her bed. Kora closed her eyes, and felt safe.
"Do you think it's possible?" Optimus asked. "It could be." Ratchet told him. He walked to his berthroom. Optimus looked at the monitor, feeling the pain in his spark chamber once again. 'It has to be her. My dear Kara.' Optimus thought.

~Dream world~

Kora's POV

I sat some where. I remembered this place. It was from the dream before. I looked around. Again I saw Optimus, but this time I knew it was him. I could make it out. He smiled at me. Foe some reason I smiled back. Then I heard a crash of something. Optimus ran towards me before everything went black.

~Normal world~

Normal POV

Kora woke up screaming. Optimus came rushing in, his holoform running towards Kora. "Kora." He said, worry and fear filling his voice. Kora shook her head. She was covered in cold sweat. "I'm fine. Just had a nighmare." Kora told him. "Kora." He said, more strenly this time. Kora looked at him. He looked at her. Her eyes where again, an azule blue. Optimus sat on the bed. "What's going on?" He asked. Kora looked at him confused, then relized he was talking about her nightmare. She shurged. "It could be anything. I don't tipcally remember nightmares." Kora told him. But she could remember this one. 'Maybe it wasn't a nightmare, maybe a memoie?' Kora questioned. "Was...........was I in it?" Optimus asked. Kora turned to him quickly. "Uh........" Kora didn't know what to say. Everything went black for her, she almost fell off the bed. "Kora!" Optimus yelled catching her. Ratchet and the other bots rushed in. "What's....." Ratchet began then took one look at Kora. "Get her to sick-bay." Ratchet told them. Arcee picked up Kora and rushed to Sick-bay. Optimus was on hot presuit. "I need everyone out!" Ratchet yelled. They all left. "Optimus, what's going on?" Bulkhead asked.

"I think........I think I may have found my daughter." Optimus told him, tears falling down his face-plate. Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee where all surprised.
